Who would you invite to dinner? Dead or alive.
Jimbob replied to welsh_gamer's topic in General Chit Chat
1. Tim Allen - A fan of his stuff, so could have a lot to talk about 2. Jackie Chan - To talk movies. More importantly his 3. Jeremy Clarkson - Car talk. 4. Tony Montana - Need a bad guy, so why not him 5. Bruce Lee - Love to see Bruce Lee vs Jackie Chan as entertainment 6. Hannibal Lecter - Easy to feed 7. Chris Barrie - Same as Tim Allen. 8. Pope John Paul II - Well, a religious figure is always a party must 9. Jim Carrey - Legendary. 10. Altar - Well, he could stealth kill the food. -
Had a great day yesterday, came into work and finished all my cambered flange work which was great. Came home to see a parcel containing the 2 DVD's i ordered, which were Tombstone History of the Undertaker and Borat both were watched last night and both were awesome, Borats rating is in the rate movie thread. Spend a few hours online chatting to mates afterwards before bed really. Shall do todays later on.

Jeez, I'll Be Needing A Walking Stick Soon At This Rate!
Jimbob replied to Slaggis's topic in General Chit Chat
I'll be 22 in a few months, 6 in fact and i get the odd occasion that makes me think i am old. I mean i started comp in 1997, that was 11 years ago and left at 15/16 which was 6 years ago. In the process of leaving, i have had 5 jobs, currently in 5th and have had nearly 1 year off unemployed and did nothing but drink lager with my dole money as it was something to do in a way. -
Borat Been meaning to see this for a long time, and it lives up to what i thought it would be and more. Borats adventures across the USA and all the people he irritates and annoys and more than makes them angry and all that. 10/10 for brilliance

I am appealing to America to stop stealing our hit shows and turning them into garbage. They tried it with Red Dwarf and failed because they couldn't write a good script plus the cast were all pants except Robert Llewellen who was cast over there. They tried it with the Office, and even though i don't like the Office they managed to make it work. And now Top Gear. Expect many large cars suited to the average tub of lard living in America, Monster Trucks and presenters who don't know anything about cars or are former reality TV stars. I predict disaster will occur.

I remember this mag and its successor in NGC magazine. Although, i have not purchased NGamer. N64 mag was brilliant, all the great features, humour, that Worldy Bloke thing. All was amazing.

Managed to get on Live again after a long struggle and all is well once again. I am contemplating downloading the Turok demo as i quite liked the previous titles on the N64, but some views of it so far sound like it isn't much good.

Beavis and Butthead. Don't get me started on how cruddy the TV series was, no laughs what-so-ever for me. Movies had one or two giggles but that was it really.

I'm currently reading The World According to Clarkson part 2 after an extensive session with finishing the first part of it. So far, it is pretty good but i have only just started it though.

In the mind, this is funny only as an idea in the mind. As it was bought out into the world this is now very cruel. How could you do that to him even though he could be what you say a "loser". Yes, it may have been funny and all that at the start but then it should have stopped before it got any worse.

I sometimes have socks that go missing, i do check the machine and there is never anything left in there after the wash, but then in the next wash they re-appear mysteriously usually in with the white load.

2 crisps were standing at a corner when a man pulled up in his car. "Need a lift" said the man The crisps replied "No thanks, we're Walkers" Why are muslims no good at football? Because everytime they get a corner, they build a shop. A man went into a bar and asked the barman for a shot of 25 year old scotch. "I can tell the difference, so don't try and give me different stuff." said the man to the bartender. The bartender thought for a second and gave the man a shot of 5 year scotch. The man drank it and slammed the shot glass on the table. "This is 5 year scotch, i asked for 25 year scotch." the man said. The bartender was a little impressed so tried him with 15 year scotch. Same happened again, glass slammed on table and the man complained again. "Look, i want 25 year scotch, not this cruddy 15 year scotch.". This time, the barman gave him the 25 year scotch and the man was happy this time. Another man came up to the bar who was also impressed by what he just saw. "You can work out how old the whiskey is by only drinking it" "Yes i can" replied the first man. "Ok then try this" the second man said. So the first man drank it and replied "Yuk, this tastes of piss". The second man laughed and said "Precisly, now work out how old i am then"

What would it be like if RARE had not left Nintendo?
Jimbob replied to welsh_gamer's topic in Nintendo Gaming
On X-Box, Rare havn't been much good. Grabbed by the Goulies didn't grab me as such. Now on the 360, PDZ, Kameo and Viva are all great games. PDZ does have a few flaws, but Kameo and Viva make up for this game. I think this generation, we may see Rare flourish into something similar to what we saw on the N64. If Rare had stayed with Ninty, and with the patience of Ninty as well, Rare may have made Goulies more fun and enjoyable and Kameo and DK racing would have been as we saw them back in 01/02. Maybe BK and PD would be readily available for the VC as we speak. -

Alcohol is good, i do enjoy it quite a bit. Sociably of course and not over-indulgence as i hate getting bladdered. I tend to drink Fosters and Stella Artois most of the time, but now and then Worthington, Carlsberg and Guinness. Spirit wise Vodka, Whiskey and Rum. I drink them either on their own with ice or with Coke. And yes as i grew up i changed from drinking Bud and Carling to what i drink above over the course of 3 years.
