I'm so glad that i achieved the retail Gold-skin unlock, so awesome one could say it is bad-ass.

They hated me, people were shouting abuse at me down the microphone some nights. I still hate on Gears 2, trying to counter a recoil on the standard Lancer, which doesn't exist. I guess i got used to the Retro Lancer so much.

I still think the UK should bring in a "Pet License" for people. Would stop any old idiot getting a pet and thinking that just because they own a dog, it gives them a right to have a go at everyone.

Well done Microsoft for making a basic task near impossible!

Oh, makes me laugh that people are still using Vista. That was one god aweful O/S, and one that i am thankfull i got rid of long ago. Now then, just need to hope that if my computer ever breaks down, it doesn't go into one of them computer shops. Even if you give them the disks for what-ever O/S you are using, they will only put the default back on. In my case, Windows Vista (erghh). I don't think i ever had the issue of web-cam installation on a Vista machine, which compared to all of the other issues i had with it would be minimal in comparison. -
Having picked up the original Mass Effect (and still awaiting delivery of Mass Effect 2), i can't believe i missed out on such a classic series of gaming. Love the side-missions, love how lenghly the games are (with the side missions played as well) and i love the humour. So, this is yet another title i am looking forward to.

It's amazing going onto the Epic forums, and hearing people complain about being picked off with a Retro. Most of these people, are shotgun gamers and don't like to be outdone. I congratulate Epic for making a weapon to counter the Gnasher. I don't want Epic to ruin the formula of Gears 3. One of the most anticipated games i'm looking forward to as well, and can't wait to sink my teeth into it again come September. I thinks a day off work could be in order for this, and i know where my online gamings will be as well.

RUMMIFLY - Starring Rummy as Jeff Goldblum
Jimbob replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in General Chit Chat
Birthday wishes (be they late in this case, but caught on-time earlier) to you Rummy. -
Probably what i'll pick up, if i can't be bothered to create 2 albums. I don't purchase an album with songs that the artist probably didn't want on there in the first place, but as the artist intended. So in many ways, i'm like Danny and Wesly when it comes to albums and music.
-
It does sound a good idea, but in someways i think the band can't choose what tunes go on what album. The last album, "Off with their Heads" didn't sell so good. So i guess this is a way to rectify the mistakes made on the last one. There will be people, i may be one of them, who makes 2 albums. A disk 1 and 2, where they will own all 20 songs.

Now then, i already manufacture a "popular*" report show. Sounds like something i could be interested in. -
I don't know if the vehicle disapperance thing is a glitch, but possibly could be a way to save on memory courtasy of Rockstar.

I blooming hate this, half the time the car i pull over is one i need to finish an achievement, and it vanishes. Even when it turns a corner, it disappears.

I admit, Rockstar making each case 320ms is a bit pricy for the length of each one to complete. For 2 weeks at least, you can purchase the "Rockstar Pass". This pass entitles you to (individual prices are next to each item) A Slip of the Tongue (Traffic case) - 320ms/£2.99 (Play pre-orders) The Naked City (Vice case) - 320ms/£2.99 (GAME pre-orders) Badge Pursuit Challenge + Button Suit - 160ms/£1.50 (GAME pre-orders) Broderick Detective Suit - 80ms/99p (Amazon pre-orders) Sharpshooter Detective Suit - 80ms/99p (Zaavi pre-orders) Nicholson Electroplating (Arson case)** - 320ms/£2.99 Reefer Madness (Vice case)** - 320ms/£2.99 The Chicago Piano - Free **Not yet released, but upon release in June and July respectively, you will get this for no extra charge. Working it out, if you only got the stand-alone game with no pre-order DLC, it comes to around 1600ms/£12.99. So, 800ms/£6.99 is a bargain for all the above DLC in anyones eyes, even if you take out your already owned pre-order DLC (one set per store) Make the most of the reduced Pass cost, goes up in 2 weeks. Probably to 1600ms/£12.99.

Still don't trust using the Windows stuff, still installed my own for my own protection.
-
DLC is out, each extra case is 320ms and the suits are 80ms. 2 more cases coming next month (June 21st), each for 320ms. Or, you could buy the "Rockstar Pass" for 800ms and get all the above (including the future 2 cases).

Call of Duty: Monthly Fee Edition ( Elite )
Jimbob replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Other Consoles
No thanks, i pay enough to get on the 360 online as it is. Why should i pay extra for this?. If all companies started charging extra to play their games online, then that would soon be the end i believe. Plus, i suppose Activision want to make back the money they are losing as well. Wonder how many will subscribe, once this title arrives on the market? -
Ah, the school playground. Played many-a-game i did, including 40, 40 in (or, as we called it in Wales, "Mob in")** Hide and Seek Tag British Bulldog Whats the Time Mr Wolf Dodgeball Stuck in the Mud Four Court Four Court, Dodgeball and Bulldog were carried on into the Comprehensive for the first 2 years, with only Dodgeball being played around Year 10/11. Dodgeball even became a part of the P.E sessions we had, well only when it rained and it wasn't Rugby Season. Of which i hated Rugby, well only the teacher who taught it. What an arse he was, and still is. Remember being told by the head that Bulldog was banned in the playground, due to "health and safety reasons. Remember being in a group who took the mick with this "health and safety" lark, basically we didn't do anything in the case we "hurt" ourselves. Those were the days indeed. ** Mob in was played on both the school grounds, and at home. Had a perfect area we played it in, it was an area with flats we could hide behind and lots of bushes/trees. Also played a game called "Kirby", which basically was throwing a ball (could be anything from a Tennis ball, to a Football) and seeing if you hit the kirb with it (2 players, one on each side of the road on opposite kirbs). Hit the kirb, and you went to the middle of the road/path where you proceeded to throw the ball at the kirb. Each bounce equalled one point. If the ball didn't hit the kirb, and the opposite player caught it, then they could "tag" the player with it. They would lose the points they gained at the time. Points were safe, if you made it back to your kirb. First to 100 games we used to play.

Since last year up until now, i've lost the equivilent of around 22 1/2 bags of sugar in weight, feeling better for it as well. Helps since i cut back a lot on what i drink a week, i don't eat so much crap food, i eat a lot of low-fat stuff and regulary go out for a walk (dog goes sometimes, if she's home). I used to weigh around 134kg, last weigh-in yesterday is around 112kg. Not a lot, but it sure makes a difference. Thats without going to the gym or anything. My target weight is around 90kg, so only another 22kg to go.

Happy Birthday Ellmeister, have a good one.

Happy Birthday canand, enjoy the day.

DLC coming next week according to Rockstar, all the cases that were pre-order are coming. As long as they ain't over-priced, i don't mind.
-
I'm going to hang on, see what the prices are for the L.A Noire pre-order DLC coming in the week. Nice to see new avatar gear up as well.
