My history of gaming goes as follows Grandstand (basically, Space Invaders) NES Gameboy Mega Drive Gameboy Color N64 Gamecube Gameboy Advance Nintendo DS Xbox 360 Wii WiiU PS4 PS Vita Most of my gaming has been on the Nintendo side of things. I was introduced to gaming by my parents (who want me to "grow up and stop playing games" now). I blame them for my gaming hobby. After all, they bought me and my Sister a NES (well, mainly me as she didn't like video games). Played some great games in Mario Brothers, Tetris, Metroid to name a couple. They were also responsible for my first handheld in the Gameboy. Again, mainly Tetris and Mario games on here. My early gaming days, i wern't serious on gaming but played for fun. I skipped the SNES in favour of a Mega Drive (but have since played the SNES games i wanted to play, Super Metroid, Mario World, Link to the Past). Had some great gaming moments on that console. The only reason why i skipped the SNES was due to one of my cousins, who happened to have a little game called "Sonic the Hedgehog". That one game persuaded me to get a Mega Drive. Played all 3 Sonic games, damn fine times indeed. Ecco the Dolphin springs to mind as well. But during this period, my handheld gaming continued as i picked up (well, birthday present) a Gameboy Color. I came back to my Nintendo home console love back in 1999. Again, i can blame another cousin of mine. He had Goldeneye. This game, as well as Super Mario 64 persuaded me to jump back to Nintendo. It was with the N64 my gaming love increased and i became what i am today, a gamer who wanted to complete games not just for fun, but because i wanted to. Played many great games, not only the two mentioned above. But also Banjo Kazooie, Tooie, Conkers Bad Fur Day, Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask, WWE No Mercy and Super Smash Brothers. Decided to stick to Nintendo with the Gamecube, and also an upgrade to my handheld gaming in the Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS in later days. The next big step i took occured in 2007, soon after the Wii was announced. At the time, i wasn't a fan of motion controls (to be honest, still not quite a fan but have learned to use it and enjoy it). I decided at the time that maybe a change in company could be good. I decided on an Xbox 360 purchase later that year. Played some epic titles on this console, including and not limited to Mass Effect (+ sequels), Gears of War (+ sequels), Red Dead Redemption, Assassin's Creed (+ sequels), Bioshock etc. Ok, the 360 was plagued with errors. I had 3 consoles in the duration of gaming, not happy with having to get 3. My DS broke, but i decided to not get a replacement as my handheld gaming love had died off. So i sold it off with a few games i had at the time. However, i then decided to purchase a Wii with Smash Brothers and Super Mario Galaxy a few years into the Xbox gaming years. Only 2 years ago did i find my love for handheld gaming rekindled and so, i bought a 3DS. Havn't looked back, such a good console. And it works with DS games so i could play the classics again. This year has been busy for gaming for me. 3 major purchases, the first being a WiiU back in May/June. Nice machine, nice upgrade for the Wii and some good games. The whole time of gaming, i didn't get a Playstation. I had this feeling that Sony were a "curse on the industry" and didn't want to contribute to that. However, that opinion changed after E3 and in November, when i bought my first Playstation in the PS4. Following soon behind with a PS Vita. Having some good gaming moments already on both machines, and it makes me think why didn't i get a Sony machine earlier in life.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night. Haul was pretty decent this year. Got a nice bag for trips, 2 Top Gear DVD's, the next in the Song of Ice and Fire series of books, some money, a crate of beer, some loungewear and the usual toiletries

Had a funny conversation earlier, i invaded someone's facebook status.

It is indeed a good bargain, but i've got plenty to keep me going on the Vita at present. I'm currently hooked on Wipeout and Little Big Planet, and i've got Lemmings, Liberations, MotoGP, Uncharted and Sonic All Stars to play through.

Yeah, that's what i did. Downloaded all the games, unsure which ones to keep on the Vita for now. Thought i'd be smart and leave the Vita on overnight charge whilst downloading my games from the code and PS+, managed all but 2 before the console ran out of power. Damn USB charge, probably because i didn't use the right port.

Malkay could be gone before they play Liverpool, or after. Mr Tan is unsure as to what to do.

He's refusing to quit, and i don't blame him. Yes they are 15th in the table, but that's a good position for a newly promoted team. He's the right man for the job, unlike the owner who knows nothing about Football (and that's coming from Brendan Rodgers). Malkay should not have been put in a situation like this, he's done nothing but good for the club. But if he does go, there are openings in Tottenham, West Brom he could go for. If he's sacked, it will look bad on Cardiff's owners. And if he is sacked, i hope Cardiff get relegated to spite the owner.

Nothing stopping them re-appearing in the game, havn't other retro tracks made an appearance on more than one occasion in different MK games?. And who knows, maybe they'll introduce a new cup in this game as well

Well, the Vita has been delivered and it's at home. 4 hours until i get home.

Wonder if they'll put some retro-style course in like in other Mario Kart games, with some remixing to accomodate the new Kart features

Of course not, at least Shopto still deliver items within the timeframe. Unlike another well known gaming company, who deliver pre-order bonus's first and the game for it 2 days later/if at all. Contacted DPD (who are delivering it) to deliver it to my neighbour and i'll pick it up/ask parents to get it later today.

Price is a little steep for something so simple, yeah it may be fun. But i'll wait me thinks.

Having seen the screens and video now, wow. Bring it on in Springtime.

Urggh, no thanks. This will sit alongside the CD-I games as non-playable in my books.

I hate viewing in Internet Explorer 6, can't see the images. But yeah, anything Mario Kart i'm all good for.

All i would like to see is some GBA goodness for the 3DS (it would be about time). And some N64/GC releases for the WiiU over the holidays. Make it happen Nintendo, please.

Nice, a good chance for everyone to try the multiplayer. Which of course, i'll be venturing into over the festive holidays between family events.

Vita's been dispatched, that's gotta be the slowest dispatch from Shopto i've had. Ordered it half 11 on Monday via Play.com, had the order reciept Tuesday at 6pm and dispatched today 9:30am. Got a case from GAME, cost £5 and seems quite sturdy.

Not exactly a good thing for me, but for my Dad who met Commander Hadfield and picked up a signed copy of his new book on Tuesday (yesterday).

Good idea, i'll do a video as well as it would seem appropriate.

Even that is still a good price for a bundle.
