So Square Enix want to charge full price for a game running at max PC setting, which came out last year, but with all the crappy multiplayer DLC included with it. Sorry, but i'll give it a miss and go back to playing the 360 version.

If Nintendo were to offer a paid online service, something similar to what Sony offer would be suitable for me. Access to a complete retro gaming catalogue across both 3DS and WiiU as well as exclusive discounts on products/games as well.

Sony shouldn't give up the handheld, that is a similar debate as "Should Nintendo give up home consoles?". My answer is simple, no. The PS Vita is a great piece of kit (and one i plan on purchasing next year). Plus it is good competition for Nintendo's 3DS (well, i say that loosely). But looking at both types of groups with Nintendo and Sony, Nintendo are established in the handheld market, whilst Sony are relative newcomers to the market. And then look at the types of players. Maybe it's the type of player that is responsible for the slow sales of Vita, Sony gamers tend to stick to the console over the Nintendo gamer who stick more to hand-held gaming. That's based on what i've seen.

Found the entire series of Dinosaurs on Netflix, my afternoon is sorted.

The restrictions on the remote controls isn't an issue for me, i believe 3D playback of Blu-rays will be an added feature at a later date. Again, not fussed on that myself. But one thing i can agree on, the PS4 UI is a heck of a lot clearer than Xbox's one (from what i've seen)

That can't be right, Nintendo (as far as i'm aware) don't charge close to twice the price of a console to simply take the faulty machine, then refund it if it's in warranty. Nothing gone wrong so far, and if it does (and they try this) i will not be happy, and i'll wait for PS4's to become readily available before getting another one. GAME did try to get me with the one off £50 cost to give it it's "extended" warranty which covers all damage, didn't go for it. Didn't see the point to be honest, last time i took out anything extra the company didn't honour it. Got the US Netflix going on the PS4, nice to be able to watch it again on the big screen.

Umm, not sure what to think about that to be honest.

Got a decision to make regarding my work. You all know i hate the job, and am looking for other work. Contract ends in March, and as it "ends" and the type of contract i am on, i can get a redundancy payment of 3x my wages (approx £4k) if i sit out the job until March 2014. Pretty easy decision, may just sit it out and get this pay-off if it happens.

Nowhere near ready myself, got powers written up. Havn't even given a thought as to what to base my next game on, i scrapped the other mafia i had as it was sounding crap.

That's one heck of a list, and a nice little set of rules as well. Maybe i ought to stick to one, maybe two games at a time. But i tend to get bored of playing lets say, Mario and want to play something else. Then i forget the game is there and buy something else, hence why i've got so, so much on mine.

@Murr, it will take some time indeed. May play some 3DS whilst watching the b-ball from last night. @Fused King, wow. Once i've cleared a few games, i'll purchase a few more to fill the void. With the number i have to complete (and by complete, it's once the credits have rolled and/or i've collected everything possible) i won't be getting any more games for a while. There are other games from the past (in the Virtual Console at present) i wish to buy and play. And Animal Crossing can never be completed, it's one of them games.

I'd love to see a drone deliver a 42+ inch TV, or better still
