  1. Will be interesting to see what you make of Astral Chain, hopefully you enjoy it though as it’ll certainly keep you busy for quite a while if you do get into it. Just Mario Kart and Smash for me, as usual. Have decided to delay getting Luigi’s Mansion 3.
  2. It’s just a case of trimming sections from the main video file (once it’s on the Timeline in your editing software) and then exporting those shorter clips as a new video file. I’d recommend checking out some basic video editing tutorials, that should give you all the info you need to get started. Here’s one for Adobe Premiere: https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/premiere-pro/how-to/edit-videos.html It doesn’t really matter if that’s not the software you’re using, as the majority of video editing applications follow the same basic principles and feature very similar layouts.
  3. There we go, 1355 images that inexplicably still can’t be used on your Smash Tag.
  4. Some clips from last night:
  5. Ok that’s it for me, nothing is going to top what just happened, going out with a bang. Cheers for the games!
  6. That was an epic battle on the Tri-Force stage just now, what a finale! I was seriously on the edge of my seat watching that. Man, I love this game.
  7. Finally completed Cat Quest II (100% with all achievements) was a lot of fun, albeit a very similar experience to the First game. I've recently turned my attention to Capcom's debut Apple Arcade title, Shinsekai into the Depths. It is amazing! Anyone that has the chance to play it should definitely check it out, just make sure to do so with headphones.
  8. That was a really fun session I thought. Playing this after Mario Kart Tour makes it all the more crazy/entertaining. @Dcubed, sorry (not sorry ) about that 2x unnecessary Super Horn on Yoshi Circuit. Think it may have helped you out in end anyway.
  9. Not sure what the plan was for the test run of the podcast thing, but I’m only going to be online until around 10:30.
  10. Aww man. No giant Pikachu for me then. They should’ve done it like how Smash Bros. did with the Spirits. People with Let’s GO save data get them first, but everyone else can still get them later on. No worries. Hey, I wonder if the giant Pikachu be tradable though? Seeing as you love Pikachu so much, Glen-i I’ll gladly take him off your hands if so.
  11. So I picked up an Apple TV, and playing Arcade stuff on there with my DualShock 4 has been pretty great! You can also use the controller to navigate the Apple TV menus and some of the games even get a modified UI to reflect the DS4 button symbols. There seems to be minimal fuss with save data when switching between devices too, with some games syncing automatically and others just asking you to select which data to use. It’s very slick, and something that I think I’ll get a lot of use out of. For me it even improves on the Nintendo Switch concept, as I actually get to take games on the go with a truly portable device (iPhone SE) and can still continue playing them at home on the big screen with a nice controller. Really hoping that the variety and quality of games on Apple Arcade will continue to improve, because the system that’s in place is very good indeed. It’s obviously not good if you want to own the games, but as someone who rarely replays stuff now anyway I’m fine with just enjoying single playthroughs and then moving on to new titles.
  12. So just to clarify, the giant old school Pikachu they showed in that trailer won’t be exclusive to those with Let’s GO save data? I’d hate to miss out on that thing, it looks hilarious. Oh boy are you gonna have fun if we ever have a Pokémon battle. Imagine our fights on Smash Bros. but like 10 times easier for you to win. Yep, pretty sure that every Pokémon I choose will have rubbish stats. They’ll look cute while they’re getting killed though... you can be sure of that.
  13. An hour of video is usually somewhere between 6-7 GB for me, which can then be compressed down to around 1.5 GB while still retaining good quality. I use a very old HDPVR2 and as I mentioned in the staff thread, the device can be a bit flaky now, meaning potential loss of some (or even all) footage. So yeah, it would be best if someone with a more stable capturing setup could take care of recording the gameplay ideally.
  14. Hilarious stuff as always! Cheers for the games everyone.
  15. Yep, I usually hear it whenever you pick that stage.
  16. The play with friends online update has apparently arrived for this, along with some other changes/improvements.
  17. Yeah! Nintendogs and WarioWare DIY next please.
  18. It’s incredibly silly but pretty much guaranteed to make you laugh at some point, so yeah, well worth checking out. I’ve not played much of ChuChu Rocket yet, just the initial stages which seem to be more of a tutorial than anything. Will have to get back to it soon. It’s still all about Cat Quest II for me at the moment. Managed to finish The Pinball Wizard the other day though. The “ending“ was a bit anticlimactic, but the journey to reach the top of the tower was enjoyable. I see. Thanks for the info.
  19. I believe one of those tiny ZL and ZR shoulder buttons doubles as the capture button on that particular controller. Kind of strange/annoying that Nintendo won’t enable this for other controllers too (not even with SL or SR when using a single Joy-Con ) as I use my Wii U Pro controller and would love to have a capture button shortcut on that. Mario Paint! Yeah, I’m guessing that one is unlikely without some type of modification, but if they somehow got it working with the Switch touchscreen that would be glorious! Be fun to mess around with the music tool on there again. Other than that I’d like to see Mystical Ninja (especially as I no longer have access to my Wii Virtual Console copy) and if Konami wanted to be really cool (also unlikely ) the Japan exclusive Mystical Ninja titles! Oh, and Pop’n Twinbee!
  20. I’ve finally picked up Cuphead. There are definitely a few more titles on sale that I wouldn’t mind getting too. What’s the verdict on the latest version of Rime? I seem to recall it was a pretty bad port at launch, but that it got mostly sorted out via a later patch.
  21. Looks like this will indeed have online leaderboards.
