@dazzybee, is this shocking accusation true? Oh, and is Scram Kitty worth checking out? : peace:
-
I'd also like to hear opinions on Scram Kitty, same reason (minus the unpacking the Wii U thing ).
-
You'd assume, yeah. But I wouldn't put it past Nintendo to forget about Europe again.
-
Hilarious. It's just so wrong that it somehow ends up being right. Loving the sound of the rest of this update too. The best game on Wii U just got even better. :awesome: Here's hoping we get the update soon in Europe, and not 2015.

You mean limited edition? If so, then it's also available from the official Nintendo store:http://store.nintendo.co.uk/wii-u-game/hyrule-warriors-limited-edition-pack/10984554.html I'm not getting the LE of this, but if I was I'd definitely go with the Nintendo store. I didn't get my MK8 LE from there in time for launch, but they sent me a free download code for the game, which was pretty damn awesome of them. I'm assuming they don't want to be doing that kind of thing again, so you're probably guaranteed launch day delivery now.

Would I buy mobile Nintendo games? No, because you can't buy something that doesn't exist/probably never will. But IF they did (and that's a big if) then sure, I'd check 'em out. I know a lot of gamers really dislike the mobile game scene, and I can totally see why as it's created this situation where people now expect titles to be free or incredibly cheap, and in the process pretty much destroyed the traditional handheld gaming market. But not all mobile games are "free" throwaway pieces of crap, I've come across some fine examples of mobile games done right, stuff like the aforementioned Temple Run (well I've only played the sequel but I imagine they're more or less the same ), Jetpack Joyride, Smash Hit, dEXTRIS, Fruit Ninja, 8 Ball Pool, School Idol Festival, jukebeat, Bike Baron, Parashoot Stan... They're all good fun and all control perfectly using touch or tilt controls. At the end of the day, if a game is well designed around the hardware that's all that counts. There are a shitload of mobile games out there that are absolutely terrible and try to mimic traditional controls using touch, but there are also those like the ones I mentioned above, which have been properly designed to work with simple controls. I have no doubt that Nintendo could create excellent mobile titles (after all they're the best videogame developer in the world) but it just doesn't fit in with their ethos. Chances of Nintendo abandoning hardware development and doing a SEGA are simply microscopic. So yeah, anyone that enjoys Nintendo's games and wants to continue playing them is just going to have to purchase their systems or go without.

Isn't it just his other costumes that are the DLC?
-
Someone who loves getting on the pallet. That still in this version?
-
It has to be... right? Also, this gave me a chuckle:
-
I can't believe this game was also on DS, that's pretty nuts. Anyone ever play the NDS version? Shame it wasn't localised. Nice.

Just chuck a post in this thread:http://n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54513&page=52 lostmario will then let you know which group you'll be racing in, and who you need to add.
-
That would be a neat trick...

Pretty sure everyone here is well aware of the league by now, but perhaps not the theme nights (which start this week) so... You'll never get to experience this kind of insanity with just local/random online multiplayer, so I urge anyone that has the game to take part. It be hella fun. : peace:

Yeah, same here. If it hooks you, Ni no Kuni is basically digital crack.

Just over 20 hours played now, have picked up the fast travel spell and discovered a casino! Literally spent about an hour playing the slot machine earlier on. I'm continually amazed by this game, it's just so mesmerising. There are some aspects which are starting to get a bit annoying (the take/give heart thing for one) but on the whole it's really enjoyable. Surprising to discover that quite a few N-E peeps started but then quit playing this. Mind you, the same sort of thing happened with Xenoblade (almost to me too), I guess with games of this kind of scale it's to be expected. They're a pretty big investment time-wise, so you really do need to enjoy the content enough to see it through. Indeed, I also loved DQIX.

Here's hoping.I'm pretty intrigued by the next standard Direct (especially if you know what really has been delayed to you know when ) I mean, what the hell are they gonna talk about for the rest of 2014? Obviously Hyrule Warriors will have had a direct by then. Smash Bros. for 3DS was already covered in a direct and has been getting loads of coverage recently. Bayonetta 2 has also been shown a lot and will probably get its own direct anyway (where Kamiya reminds us of the release date over and over ). So unless they're bringing forward amiibo for MK8 or have some significant surprises, there doesn't seem to be that much left for a general Direct. Makes me think it'll be more focused on 3DS... Theatrhythm, Fantasy Life, Pokémon, etc.

If I could thank this post more than once, I would. Never leave this place, Dcubed.

Hehehe! Yeah man, I've been glued to the game this weekend. Think I'm up to the part where @Tales stopped playing. This area of the game has definitely seen the difficulty increase quite a bit, and also included a stealth section (which I hate ) but it's been providing so many laughs I can easily overlook anything I'm not too keen on. Drippy's disguise during the stealth part had me in stitches. There's just so much to love about this game. And the Pokémon err... I mean Familiars, are such a great feature, there's an incredible amount of depth to it as well. :awesome: So yeah, really enjoying my time with Ni no Kuni. I kind of feel bad for getting it so cheap now.

I finally got my first Platinum trophy the other day (DoA5), although technically it should be my second, how Tokyo Jungle has no platinum I'll never know. But yeah, trophies be a pretty nice feature. It's cool being able to see the progress of your friends too.

I hope so. Just give me playable Birdo, Nintendo! Seriously though, how hard can it be to get some DLC sorted? There are times when I'm simply astonished at how slowly Nintendo work. I know they focus on quality and like to strive for perfection, but when you consider the size of the company and the workforce involved... It boggles my mind. What are they doing over there? *Meanwhile at Nintendo GIF*

To be fair, most of those 3rd party games will probably be caca. But if you do remember any more titles, please let me now so I can add them to the release list thread.
-
So if Smash Bros. for Wii U does get delayed to 2015 (I said IF @Serebii ) I wonder if Nintendo will bring forward the use of amiibo for Mario Kart 8. It seems a bit strange how MK8 is compatible with amiibo, but Smash will be the first game to make use of it. Why not release amiibo for the game that's already out, and that over 2 million people already own?
-
Pretty much, yeah. I still recon Bayonetta 2 will hit hit at the end of October, in time for Halloween. Smash Bros. for Wii U is an interesting one now though, I really expected it to be out by summer, but it could potentially be 2015. (something @Dcubed & @Serebii will continue to debate ) And Watch Dogs, well... I'll believe it when I see it. I really feel for any Wii U only gamers. *Goes back to playing Ni No Kuni.*
-
Yeah, and I just love the way it looks. There are times where if it wasn't for the controller in my hand I'd almost forget I was playing a videogame! That's a shame. I'm OK with it so far, it kind of reminds me of Xenoblade slightly as you're a bit more involved during battles.
-
Wowzers. That is nuts. :awesome: I was like "ha! he missed one"... oh.
