Yeah, I've been hearing that the adapter is hard to get hold of over there, and the bundle sold out etc... Seems weird though, you'd think they'd have made loads of 'em.

I was going to do the same, but after spending so much time playing the 3DS version (and having to be careful not to destroy my 3DS in the process ) I decided to get the adapter and a new GCN pad so I could just go nuts on it. What controller are you gonna be using for Smash then? Yep.

Got the email from ShopTo. No mention of the GCN controller I ordered though, just the game/adapter bundle. Did anyone else who ordered the controller from ShopTo get a confirmation email for it yet?

Looks like the little foil square that stops people scanning packaged amiibo has failed. All you have to do is shake the absolute crap out of the box first. I think I'm gonna risk it with the Mario amiibo I ordered online, but will definitely be getting Falcon (or any of the less stable amiibo) from a shop.

Annoying how this is gonna go live just as Smash comes out. Hmm, I wonder what it'll be raised to... 200? 500? 999?! So far I've only got Link up to the current max of Lv.99, going to stop playing as him now though until the update hits.

Oh man, that is nasty. Link looks a bit weird too: I hope Captain Falcon doesn't get messed up like that. The simple characters definitely make for the best amiibo. Kirby and Pikachu look pretty much perfect in every single pic.

Interesting.Surely they could've had older replays use the original physics data, I mean it's all still there on the cart, right? Making every single pre-1.04 replay unwatchable just seems like such a quick-and-dirty "fix".

Yeah, "a certain familiar character from the Zelda series"... The only familiar characters I can think of are Tingle and the Postman: All of the other familiar characters are already playable in Hyrule Warriors, unless...

I too would be outraged, because it would also probably mean that the perverted old man outside of the gym would be replaced by the lame "PC" version. So we would've never seen this: As for this update to Smash, well I've not played it yet, but I'm willing to bet I won't even notice the difference. I mean, as long as the characters all have the same moves (although they're free to remove Mario's FLUDD ) then I don't see the problem. There seem to be a lot of people over at Neogaf obsessing over how certain characters moves do like 1% less damage than before or something, methinks that might be a bit extreme. Anyway, got the update downloading in Sleep Mode at the moment, will check it out soon. Do we know if this also fixes that glitch where some people got lifetime bans to the online mode?

@drahkon, have you encountered any scenes like this in the Alpha?: (Are you able to share some screenshots? ) Can't belive just how amazing this game can look. I believe it's going to be a PSN title, not entirely sure though. I'm more interested in the release date.

Can't wait to properly see Midna in her true form! Rrrr... *cough* As for this: Tingle? That would make me say wow, and a lot of people probably say something else. Although it'd almost certainly mean no Tingle as a playable character either. We shall see... I've still got shitloads of stuff to unlock on the first Adventure map, plus the Master Quest one!

Oh yeah. There will be loads I've forgotten. K.K. Slider's Saturday night performances in Animal Crossing is another good one. Oh, and Walk with Me on DS had all of the developers Miis (and their dogs ) walking across the screen.
