Huge fan of the first film. The rest... not so much. So yeah, think I'm really gonna enjoy Isolation. Don't have plus (still got the 30 day trial @Hero\-of\-Time sent me back when I bought the PS3 ) I probably won't get that sorted until The Tomorrow Children arrives, but we'll see. It does indeed look pretty spectacular, I'll focus on Alien and a bit of LBP3 for now though. Would prefer to get the retail version anyway, which seems to be around 20 quid online.

Must be nice going straight into the definitive version of this game. Kind of wish I didn't get it on PS3 now.

Should be making a start on this soon, looking forward to pooing my pants.

Got the black one with LBP3 (which is handy as that's another game I wanted to check out), also ordered a copy of Alien for £20.

Apparently it's available now, so it was just a slight delay/they forgot to upload it. Anyway, have done a few more stages on Shovel Knight. I can see why this game was getting such praise, it's so much fun to play. And they've captured the 8-Bit NES vibe with absolute perfection. I adore that scene with Shovel Knight by the fire after each stage... Beautiful.

So I caved in at the £280 price point... I be weak. That, and I figure it's best to get playing through Alien and a few other current games before everything else I'm looking forward to playing on 3DS, Wii U and PS4 comes out. Don't wanna end up doing a @dazzybee. Quick question though, does the PS4 use exactly the same power cable as the PS3? Not got much space in my current setup, so I'm planning to just plonk the PS4 where my PS3 is now (and switch 'em whenever I wanna play something else) but all the cables are kind of stuck around the back of my cabinet (it's spaghetti junction back there ) and I don't fancy trying to get them out again.

It's the same game from the ambassador program, yeah.

Yeah, very tempting to just get one right now at that price. But with many of the games I'm most interested in still some time away I wouldn't use it much at the moment.

Tomorrow Children and RIME are still the standout titles for me, but Tearaway and Uncharted look pretty cool too, still need to check out that franchise on the PS3 actually! Don't reckon I'll be able to get through all of them now though, so was thinking about just getting the 3rd one (it's part of ShopTo's January sale). Those that have played 'em all, if you could only recommend one, which would it be? I've also got Alien Isolation on the to buy list (decided to skip the PS3/PC version of that in the end) and will probably be getting GTA V again (must play as cat ) so yeah, looks like I'll be picking up a PS4 sometime soon.

Triple Deluxe time! ...Finally. I had to get a Kirby amiibo too, yes. He's not as perfectly spherical as he should be, but not too bad. Anyway, just blasted through the first world of Triple Deluxe, this game is sweet! And Dedede's Drum Dash is amazing!! @S\.C\.G, you were spot-on about that one. Is Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe ever coming out in Europe?

No actual date though. Not gonna be adding games to the list when they only have a month set for their release date, saves faffing about later on when the final date is confirmed. No idea. Actually I'm surprised by how basically none of the games coming out next year seem to have a full release date yet. Hopefully we'll get some of the finalised Q1/2 schedule soon. Nintendo Direct in January, right? It ended up alright, yeah. But the 3+ month gap between DKC:Tropical Freeze and MK8 wasn't exactly great. And then there was another one between MK8 and Hyrule Warriors! I'm just hoping Nintendo will manage to avoid such long droughts in 2015. Well at least you have a couple of games to look forward to (both of which are guaranteed to be gargantuan ). Plus there's bound to be surprises at E3, and of course a load of new eShop stuff on the way too. I'm sure your Wii U won't have as bad a year as you're expecting.

Is episode 3 the final one? That's where I'm currently at. Not had much time to play this recently though, so I still need to go back through episode 1 and 2 to collect everything. Quality game though. I love the presentation, it really does look like a Pixar movie at times! Perhaps an older Pixar movie but it's still pretty amazing from a visual standpoint. Gotta love this too: Was in stitches the first time I heard that blasting out of my surround system.

Pretty sure you need to create a customised character in order for their moves to change, so not sure what happened with your Palutena. Anyway, good games last night everyone. I'm probably not going to be playing online much/at all over Chrimbo ('tis the season for local multiplayer Smash! ) but will definitely be back for regular battles in the new year! : peace:

Loved that game. :awesome: Yeah, unbelievably epic soundtrack. And then of course there's this: I spent ages in the Big Bug Fun Club because of those... And the arcade machines. Oh man, I'm suddenly tempted to dig out my N64. Wonder how bad this game would look like on my new 42" LED TV.

I'm not too fussed about that (not even attempting to collect these though ). But I am curious as to how they're going to go about that coiled cable. Will it be solid, or flexible?

Bloody hell, how many crossovers are they planning exactly? Still pissed this game isn't coming to Wii U.

Falcon GET! I am soooo impressed with the quality of the Captain Falcon amiibo, ridiculously awesome. The detailing/paintwork on it is incredible. From the texture on the grip of his gun, to the little buckles on his boots and belt. :awesome: Even the support pillar isn't anywhere near as bad as I was expecting it to be. Here's the best thing of all though, there's actually something slightly wrong with my Falcon amiibo (no, not 2 heads, missing limbs or anything like that ) the colour of his suit is incorrect. Yeah, instead of being blue it's much closer to purple! But I'm loving it, it looks just like the colour he was in Smash 64. Already unlocked the Mii suit in MK8 (as seen above) and my Mario amiibo FP (which I personally trained up to Lv.50) in Smash Bros. has now been training my Falcon FP for me. He's already up to Lv.40, where in fact he managed to get his first win against the Lv.50 Mario! Anyway, really hope the Falcon amiibo sells well. I'm still holding on to the belief that it could make a new F-Zero game a reality.

Noooooooo!!!! I was worried about this. That is a pretty decent amount of replays that can be saved, but I was still hoping for unlimited storage via the SD card. Hadn't even realised that replay data wasn't being saved to the SD card actually... what's up with that? The replay system is crying out for MK8 style rewind/fast forward and slowmo controls. It's so annoying if you have a great moment saved but it's right at the end of like a 10 minute fight. Anyway, should be on at 8 tonight. Think I'll continue the character roster in order thing from the other day, (was up to Falco) there are still quite a few characters I've not even used yet on the Wii U version!
