  1. Finally! I've been waiting for this feature to be included for a very long time! So of course using an electric attack after a water attack will double the damage dealt. This makes for some more strategy in the battles.
  2. I've heard they are going to do a Iruka-filler now. I don't know how long it will take but I do want them to just skip it and continue with the anime instead. All this filler is also the reasing for me reading the manga more or less instead of seeing the anime. It just has a better pace. Still, it's nice to see the manga in action as it can sometimes be very hard to see what's going on in a panel.
  3. Oh that was nice! I first thought it was fan fiction but it was actually a flashback from the story! Cool. Looking forward to seeing this movie, although it will not premiere here in Denmark until 14th October! That sucks. I should, however, be glad that it will actually premiere as I guess the fanbase here consists of like.. 100 people.
  4. That.. is.. so.. EPIC!
  5. Ah well. Still, I think Bowser could fiddle himself into the pipes if he wanted to. But for my other question: Is it worth it getting to level 40 and then beating the game again?
  6. BEWARE OF SPOILERS in the following! I have just completed this game for the first time (levels around 33 but can't be arsed to get to level 40 just for another ending and rank - is it worth it?). Generally I liked the game very much. The battles were fun and there weren't too many of them - rather there was an appropriate amount. However, some of the mini-games were just tedious. For example, when Bowser is flattened and you have to sail that channel to revive him. I hated that game. Also, when he needed extra strength. Generally, the games were too repetitive and too often. I have read others say this, right? I quite enjoyed controlling Bowser around and smashing enemies. That was a fun change in Mario-games. Also, isn't it possible for Bowser to enter his own body via the pipes too? I would like to see that happen. And what's up with the shrinking upon inhalation? It seems that whatever Bowser inhales shrinks to a fitting size, which is strange.
  7. Buttom for reload? Also, the graphics on those shots look okay to me. It definitely looks better than the graphics from the E3-videos, I think.
  8. Okay, so I understood it correctly, it seems. Nice.
  9. What does that mean? That you can teach multiple Pokémon the same TM?
  10. I'll buy it but not right away. I liked The Conduit, but it really lacks offline multiplayer (my Wii can't connect to the internet where I live so after beating the main story, it got a bit boring). But I enjoyed playing a shooting game on the Wii that wasn't set in WWII or something similar which is what COD and others really lack.
  11. I think Cera is perfect for the role. I am very excited to see how he manages, but unfortunately the movie doesn't premiere here in Denmark before 14th October, which is a bit long to wait. I hadn't seen the trailer that was posted here but it looks like it is quite true to the books, which is definitely a good thing. Does anyone know how many of the books they're cramming into the film? It looks like it might be one too many, I'd rather if they'd split it up in two films. Anyway, just finished reading the sixth, gave me some good laughs and I think it concluded the story quite well. I might have to read them again, though, as some details might have gone over my head; they are a bit confusing at times, I think. Also, €8 for each book is a tad expensive.
  12. Same here. I remember some glimpses of the game but I don't remember any levels or anything. I don't even know if I ever got to the final boss.
  13. I've heard it comes out along with the film: ~14th August. I find it funny that they have made it so fight oriented. In the comics, Scott only fights Ramonas evil exes and a ninja. Romona fights a couple of others, though. I'd by it if I ever get the opportunity, though, it looks fun. Wonder if Gideon'll be in it?
  14. Oh, thanks. So, 441 times. That's not bad considering how many times I died on the last stage.
  15. I finally did it! Took me about 100 tries to get the last one. Where do you see how many times you've died during the game? The message on the message board just said total play time (which was about 29 hours).
  16. Just do the Melty Monsters second star again and again (the one where you have to roll at high speed as Rock Mario). By just dying over and over again at the end of the level I got 1800 star bits in just 15 minutes.
  17. Damn! I keep getting to the very last part and up to the boomerang bros, but then I get hit by the one hammer I didn't see. They are black on a dark blue background so they are hard to see (bad excuse!). Nah, I know, it's always my own fault. But I'm getting better, as I said, I always get to the very last part now. Will definitely do it tomorrow.
  18. I'm at the last star too and just spent about 35 lives trying and failing. The first three parts are not hard at all and what I find really annoying is that you have to do them over and over again, because you just die at the fourth or (God forbid!) the fifth part. Really, it's not that hard, it's just unforgiving. I have a question, though: do you have to kill all the monsters in that last part in order to make the star appear or is it enough to just kill the boomerang guys?
  19. It's much better and actually I find it much more fun than collecting the 120 stars.
  20. On that particular level, yes, I had those problems too. It seems that the roundness of the level is causing some troubles here, I would assume. Other than that I haven't experienced (or tried for that matter) what you also describe.
  21. Exactly! And the pants, too. By the way, SS Link? Either a ship or a nazi. Funny stuff.
  22. 120 stars get. Just beated Bowser again. It's a boring final boss, I must say.
  23. Hmm. Why was I under the impression that
  24. I'm 88 stars in and haven't found this the least bit difficult yet. Sure, some levels required a few attempts and some of comets are tricky, but they aren't really difficult? But nevertheless, I like the game. I am a bit confused about the green stars you talk about but that must be something you get after completing the game. I am at the beginning of World 6 and have got every star up till then bar two - one hidden and one comet which both haven't appeared on my map yet. I like the map as well and like ... I also find it tedious that I go to Spaceship Mario after each star, but I can live with that.
