  1. I started reading The Name of the Wind this weekend. Apparently I'm late to the party for that one but seeing as the third book has yet to be released, I say that I'm arriving at the appropriate time. It seems quite interesting. Still only 50 pages in or something like that but I think the setting is good and the story seems interesting and mysterious. I hope it stays like this throughout the book. Has anyone here read it?
  2. Box jump to sternum level? Geez, that might be a bit off, I have only seen a few being able to box jump past their belly button. (Also there's the fact that you get too nervous when it gets past that height.) I can go to belly button level at my best, I think. I agree on the squat and deadlift, though. You really should be able to take your own body weight.
  3. I've been waiting a long time for Binding of Isaac. I hope it's worth it! (I'll get it on the 3DS rather than WIi U - it seems like the better fit.)
  4. I bought Teslagrad yesterday as part of the Runbow-deal - if you own Runbow then there is a discount on games that are featured in Runbow. I got it for 33 % off which is nice. This deal ends today so be quick if you want to use it.
  5. No, you take control over the other Links by tapping them, having the others stand still. I believe this is a bit frustrating during boss battles.
  6. Thanks, I took that one.
  7. Plus, there's no reason why Zelda can't be more like Witcher in terms of side-quests.
  8. Another good episode. I think this season seems more focused than the previous one, and I quite like the tone.
  9. Indeed, it was miles better.
  10. I wouldn't mind having a code if anyone doesn't need theirs.
  11. Didn't really put any attention to this when it was revealed but it actually looks fun and bringing it out at that time is a good strategy since 3DS didn't have much else going for it. Will almost definitely buy it now.
  12. Demo-codes are being distributed via mail in the US. Hopefully we are getting that over here as well.
  13. OHP is by far the weakest lift of them all for most people - except perhaps snatch / overhead squat but then most people don't do these. I would also do well if I manage 5x5 at 40 kg, my previous 1RM PR is 48 kg after a period with a lot of focus on this particular lift. I have a tendency to arch my back a bit too much when OHP-ing so I've gone down some kilos in order to see if I can fix this. I do about 5x7 @30 kg instead.
  14. I would like them to keep the pointer controls alongside the classic controls. That would make me buy it.
  15. A Twilight Princess-icon has been found on the eShop through Datamining. So it is safe to believe that a re-release is incoming, alhtough there is no telling if it's VC or an HD-remaster. I just hope it's the GameCube-version, perhaps with pointer controls. Source
  16. So the Shovel Knight amiibo is apparently compatible with Smash Bros...
  17. This is relatively quickly beaten so just buy it and beat it in an afternoon. Then it won't really hurt your backlog.
  18. I think this season is going to get far better than season 3! It was a really good start at least.
  19. I just received the illustrated version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - albeit in Danish. It's looking really good, I was expecting only a few drawings throughout the book but there was almost one every third page with small drawings on nearly every page. The quality of the book is high as well. Definitely worth collecting, though I don't like that they will only publish one every year.
  20. So Season 2 has kicked off! At first I was quite confused, they skipped too much for being able to follow but at least they didn't leave it hanging. The animations were awful this time, though!
  21. Nope. But then again, doing anything too much or too little is bad for you so it makes sense. I just never thought about it. I don't care for the zen-part of Yoga either but the techniques for relaxing are good to me and the core exercises are really good. In my gym we have two different yoga-styles - vinyasa and flow. Vinyasa is more about breathing, relaxing and holding poses for a longer period of time and flow is more fast-paced. I do vinyasa at the moment to become better at doing the different poses - some of them are quite challenging and hard on the core. When I feel that I know the poses well enough, I might move on to flow but for now I just stick with vinyasa.
  22. I've grown quite fond of rowing. Recently I've gone to the gym to row 3k (11:22 is my fastest time, not impressive but good enough) and I feel so empowered afterwards! It's freaking great exercise as it, opposed to biking and to a lesser extent running, really hits your entire body and leaves you out of breath quickly if you don't strategically plan your effort. Last time I did it I had just biked 8 km home from work, went down to row 3k and then I killed myself by taking 10 minutes on an indoor bike. Great exercise. My physician told me that I simply use way too much muscle power in everyday tasks. When just standing I tighten my buttocks and abs to hold me upright but this actually does the opposite so I'm trying to teach myself to relax a lot more. To supplement this, I'm also doing a bit more yoga which feels great. Hopefully this can alleviate some of stress in my groin area and put my pelvis back in place.
