Demo-codes are being distributed via mail in the US. Hopefully we are getting that over here as well.

OHP is by far the weakest lift of them all for most people - except perhaps snatch / overhead squat but then most people don't do these. I would also do well if I manage 5x5 at 40 kg, my previous 1RM PR is 48 kg after a period with a lot of focus on this particular lift. I have a tendency to arch my back a bit too much when OHP-ing so I've gone down some kilos in order to see if I can fix this. I do about 5x7 @30 kg instead.

I would like them to keep the pointer controls alongside the classic controls. That would make me buy it.

A Twilight Princess-icon has been found on the eShop through Datamining. So it is safe to believe that a re-release is incoming, alhtough there is no telling if it's VC or an HD-remaster. I just hope it's the GameCube-version, perhaps with pointer controls. Source

So the Shovel Knight amiibo is apparently compatible with Smash Bros...

This is relatively quickly beaten so just buy it and beat it in an afternoon. Then it won't really hurt your backlog.

I think this season is going to get far better than season 3! It was a really good start at least.

I just received the illustrated version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - albeit in Danish. It's looking really good, I was expecting only a few drawings throughout the book but there was almost one every third page with small drawings on nearly every page. The quality of the book is high as well. Definitely worth collecting, though I don't like that they will only publish one every year.

So Season 2 has kicked off! At first I was quite confused, they skipped too much for being able to follow but at least they didn't leave it hanging. The animations were awful this time, though!

Nope. But then again, doing anything too much or too little is bad for you so it makes sense. I just never thought about it. I don't care for the zen-part of Yoga either but the techniques for relaxing are good to me and the core exercises are really good. In my gym we have two different yoga-styles - vinyasa and flow. Vinyasa is more about breathing, relaxing and holding poses for a longer period of time and flow is more fast-paced. I do vinyasa at the moment to become better at doing the different poses - some of them are quite challenging and hard on the core. When I feel that I know the poses well enough, I might move on to flow but for now I just stick with vinyasa.

I've grown quite fond of rowing. Recently I've gone to the gym to row 3k (11:22 is my fastest time, not impressive but good enough) and I feel so empowered afterwards! It's freaking great exercise as it, opposed to biking and to a lesser extent running, really hits your entire body and leaves you out of breath quickly if you don't strategically plan your effort. Last time I did it I had just biked 8 km home from work, went down to row 3k and then I killed myself by taking 10 minutes on an indoor bike. Great exercise. My physician told me that I simply use way too much muscle power in everyday tasks. When just standing I tighten my buttocks and abs to hold me upright but this actually does the opposite so I'm trying to teach myself to relax a lot more. To supplement this, I'm also doing a bit more yoga which feels great. Hopefully this can alleviate some of stress in my groin area and put my pelvis back in place.

Nah, it's fine. Tinker Knight's Castle and the fight with Propeller Knight were the only places I really noticed it. I just use the armor that reduces my money losses when dying.
-
True but that manoeuvre requires that the pit is a bit deep. Often I don't have time to do anything when knocked back.
-
Yeah, I did the same combination but after a while I found that regular casing was a better match when he was on the ground. Half the time I just got knocked down the holes in the stage. That felt completely unfair. Actually, this is what makes the game hard - the knockback feels quite worse than I remember from SK. Is that just me?

I went for a run yesterday (just because I couldn't pull myself to the gym for a cardio session) and I tried focusing on my breathing, really getting the air down in my belly rather than only using my chest, and I'm surprised that this actually made a significant difference to my flow. I felt lighter and less out of breath, even though I was running at about 15 km/h. Of course, I only ran 3.3 km but still. I must definitely look into this more and experiment with it!

So I've put some time into this over the weekend and only need to defeat one more Knight. I'm enjoying it but some parts are a lot more frustrating sue to Plague Knight's tougher controls. Especially Tinker Knight's castle had me almost quitting the game, I kept dying at irritating places. Also, the bosses are so much easier with ranged attacks, I don't mins.my health much and just throw bombs everywhere, adding some Arcane powers. This works really well. Despite of this, though, I'm really enjoying the game. It's totally like playing a new game. (Also due to the fact that I haven't played Shovel Knight since it came out.) ------- Edit: F#ck, Propeller Knight is broken! That fight was completely unfair and terribly made, it should have been remade completely. But after 20+ tries I finally got him down. That was the last Knight in my way.

To some extent, I think. I think it's more due to my hypermobility that can have caused my hip bones to be uneven. She noted that my legs weren't the same length as well. It all caused my back to wind a bit. Not.much but enough to cause a little trouble.
-
Apparently I'm too strong for my body! I saw a physician today to address my groin injury - I had suspected that it might not be due to sports but was actually due to my posture and body allignment, which she agreed on. I have problems using my inner muscles for the small stuff, like lying on your belly and just bending your knees - I can't do that without activating my back muscles! And my hip is a bit tipsy when lying on my back and just letting my knee fall to one side. She gave me some VERY basic exercises that I must do for the next week and then I consult her again. Looking forward to seeing if this could be the problem.

Yeah, you see poor form constantly. It's so sad but you can't really go around telling it to everyone - you'd never get anything done youself! I often see people doing half push-ups, never extending their arms fully, never hitting the floor with the chest, perhaps not even moving their thighs down. Squats, never even to parallel, deadlift with a bended back (I do tell them this, though, as it can be quite serious), people moving their upper bodies from side to side when biking... I sometimes wonder what the instructors at the gym are paid for!

Gave it a quick go earlier today. At first I couldn't play it as my save game somehow had disappeared bit then Yacht Club Games are awesome and gave us this: So I completed the first level. I agree with you that he is a bit tougher to control, he is a bit slippery as well. And I died a couple of times because the bombs got me too far. I assume I just have to get used to it, though, it seems rather nice!

Just got my new New 3DS XL and after having made Nintendo unlink my old 3DS and my NNID, I'm now copying my data from my old SD Card to my new SD Card using wireless transfer while the new SD card is still in the 3DS. I will then link my NNID to my New 3DS. Will I be able to use the data, I have on the SD Card??

Has it been announced that this is coming to Europe?

I think it's interesting that he has been CEO of NoA. This might mean that he has some sort of insight into what goes on outside Japan. Nintendo has often been criticised for being too Japanese so this might open them up a bit more.

Alright, I lost my 3DS last week and have got a new one - or will get it in a couple of days. I have been weeping over the more than 100 hours I've put into this game, presumeably lost in space. However, I started thinking. Is there ANY way Nintendo knows how I've fared in this game? Seeing as it actively needs to connect to the internet to download and upload stuff, there might be some sort of "cloud save", ish, on this. Also, there is the Client Number in the game. I could sort of imagine that the client number is tied to my NNID in some sense and when I therefore release my NNID from my old 3DS, I could sort of redownload some of my Shuffle save data along with it...? Also, does Shuffle automatically save data on the internet storage or on the SD card?
