I have to agree here. I get that's the feel they're going for. But there's only so much half-control I could take in ICO. It stopped being fun very quickly.

The ironic thing about the Stitch anime is that it's not set in Hawaii. It's in Japan. Soooo. They swapped places? But yeah, Lilo & Stitch is my favourite Disney movie, mainly because apart from the alien shenanigans, it's got one of the most realistic and relatable stories in Disney history. It's a story about problems involving child services. It also still gets me laughing with alarming frequency. EDIT: Gotten really off-topic, huh? Sorry about that. I really like the sound effects in the Golden Sun GBA games. They really hammer home the point that "This attack hurts". Spark Plasma is a particularly satisfying one. It's just one sound effect, but somehow repeating it over and over makes it sound 10 times more painful!

Looking up GAF, now I know why I like the art style. I've seen something similar before. It looks a bit like the Stitch anime. The show was sorta OK, it's notable for going out of it's way to shatter the original movie in the most mean-spirited manner possible!

That doesn't look too bad actually. It's certainly more appealing anyway. I think it might actually suit the programme better. There was always something about the latest series/Origins/Generations that, to me, felt like they trying to be a tad too edgy and cool. Don't get me wrong, the animation quality looks great, but the art style never really appealed to me. I don't know why I expected anything else. Internet overreacts to change. EDIT: That said, is Ash 8 now? Is he de-aging!? Why is he back in school? Will he do great all year and then completely fail the end-of-year exam? And why wouldn't that surprise me one bit?

The Digimon games have always been games that I think to myself, "Maybe I'll try one of them, but after whatever it is I'm playing now". Then I forget it exists for like a year, then something to do with it pops up, and then the cycle just repeats itself.

You're thinking of the moment Squirtle starts chowing down on Charmander's neck. It doesn't look too bad, but the noise Charmander makes! It's like a genuine scream of agony and it is really unnerving. After that, I struggle to find Squirtle cute anymore. @Dcubed's right though, Origins was pretty decent, (Mainly because Blue is named correctly) despite it's silly moments which I will make a short list of... - No, seriously. Red's Charizard should have flat out died there! - Speaking of Charizard, why would you use it against a Blastoise!? You're not Ash, think of type advantages! - If I was Red, I would have totally caught that Marowak. - Why are there Mega Stones in this anyway? When the hell does this take place? Despite that, I like the idea of me being the anime police in this thread. That's a role I can get into. I will be this thread's Officer Jenny! Except I won't be Jenny because she doesn't exist as I far as I'm concerned! I suppose I'll check out Generations despite it only sticking with the Gen 1 protagonist. (When will the pandering end!?)

Slightly off-topic, but I found the Koopalings in M&L Paper Jam to have a ridiculous amount of charm to them. The dialogue between them got more than a few chuckles whenever they started infighting. A moment I really like was a discussion about how Ludwig self appoints himself leader, naturally no-one else agrees. Doesn't stop Ludwig from elevating himself to King at one point though. The Koopalings personality differs so wildly between games though. From that footage from E3, Morton in Colour Splash is nothing like Morton in Paper Jam and it's really jarring. I wish they'd settle on their character's character. (Settle on Paper Jam's versions of the Koopalings, kay?)

You're officially doing better advertising for that game than Ninty now! Anyway, seeing this reminds me of that DSi feature that showed random photos on the top screen whenever you were browsing the DSi menu. I miss that... It actually got @Dcubed, @Ugh first aid and I to go around taking pictures of stupid/humourous things just so we could send them to each other and have it show up unexpectedly and provoke a few giggles. Now and again, we'd forget about a picture for like 3 weeks to 2 months, only to have it show up unexpectedly and cause a sudden laughing fit.

Man, all these predictions are positively dizzying! Calm your hype levels down, people! It will sell more than the WiiU, simply based on the goodwill built with the PS4 so far. Especially here in the UK, where it might as well be the only home console at the moment. I actually find it easier to find amiibos than finding WiiU games. Which is both funny and slightly upsetting.

To be frank, I was only using the latest post to make my point that the whole thing is a silly idea. You just happened to be the latest post at the time. Nothing personal. I did have to stifle some laughter when I heard about the "Win an NX" thing though. It's a bit premature, isn't it? Imagine you're a very casual gamer and you enter this because, "Hey, free games console, why not?" And then you happen to win. It's a really good thing I've just seen the credits in Xenoblade Chronicles X then. Good news for me. It was clear from that review that you think this is one really special game and it makes me very excited to delve into my second Dragon Quest game.

Call me crazy, but I think this idea is absolutely dumb and stupid and dumb! Hell, here's a concept that makes about as much sense. The NX is a pink frilly tutu that you wear on your pretty and no doubt perfectly toned hips. Control input is done by endlessly pirouetting on the spot. Failing to pirouette at any time results in failure, the player is notified of this by sharp electrical shocks directly to their buttocks! Discuss! Go on, damn it. DISCUSS!

Yeah, Nintendo will take over making Pokemon games before ever letting that money printer go. My point was that we still don't know what exactly the NX is yet. Yes, we have good guesses that'll probably ring true, but they're still just guesses. Anyway, disappointed that Sun gets the not-so-edgy Rockruff evolution, guess that's one Pokemon I don't have to consider now. Gonna end up with all of them anyway, I always do, because I'm a nutter.
