  1. Yep, definitely the Wii. 3 Smash Bros. Games on one console! Awwww Yeah! And also a healthy supply of good RPG's, from Chrono Trigger to Xenoblade. Second choice would be the 3DS. For similar reasons. After all, it too has a great supply of RPG's, from Chrono Trigger to Xenoblade!
  2. That's certainly not a bad guess. And if the NX retains the pedometer that the 3DS has, then maybe you can hatch eggs and so forth without having to spend an extra 100 quid. 100 quid!?
  3. I certainly enjoy it. It's kinda like a Saturday morning cartoon. I can almost hear the announcer at the end of each island saying something along the lines of... "What horrors await on the next island? Will our heroes finally meet their match? And will Maribel ever stop complaining? Find out next time on Dragon Quest 7! And then the theme plays while credits roll up way to fast to actually read or something.
  4. Am I the only one thinking that picking up your Pokemon and lobbing them has got to be against the rules somehow? It is really funny though, even if they blatantly ripped off Tokyo Mirage Sessions. @Dcubed should remember why I say that. I can't help but think those Z-moves won't really get used though, because Pikachu without Light Ball is useless and the idea of an Eevee lasting 2 turns in a battle with no item to back it up is laughable. But you know, Gen 1 needs more attention... Game Freak, you have over 570 other Pokemon to fall back on. DIVERSIFY, DAMN IT!
  5. It's almost definitely a spin-off. You're mental if you think a new Gen mainline game is happening a year after Sun/Moon. A new Stadium game isn't completely off-the-cards, what with the models in the 3DS being very detailed for the sake of future-proofing. (Cue @Serebii getting that very detailed Machamp picture) But I feel like that series has run it's course, what with the main selling point, seeing your Pokemon in 3D, nullified. As much as I want it to, it won't be a new Mystery Dungeon game, Super Mystery Dungeon just came out. And something gives me the impression that the Ranger series might have dropped off the face of the earth after not making a 3DS appearance. So my guesses would be a new Pokemon Rumble game (Think I just threw up in my mouth a little...), some kind of special edition of Pokken, or something completely new.
  6. They're most likely referring to the "experience" you get for winning battles. It increases your maximum paint capacity when you get enough. There's also other things like things being transformed to cards straight away and the actual cards not being used up, but instead you use your paint to initiate attacks. Personally, I don't think Sticking Star needed "fixing", just some refinement.
  7. Good, the fan art community is already oversaturated with those boring Pokemon anyway. They're bloody everywhere! I will never understand why they're so popular...
  8. Yes, but I was referring to the Mario Maker faceplate specifically. It features a whole bunch of sprites from different series that appear in that game, but no Pokemon ones. I just find that interesting. Especially when Ronnie said it was a great plate to celebrate Ninty's franchises.
  9. Except Pokemon.
  10. Somehow, farming Astalos is so much more interesting when other people are getting launched all over the place. Great moment when I was circling Astalos and @S\.C\.G gets hit with that move that sends you flying backwards. My camera happened to be in the perfect position and he made sure that my stereoscopic 3D didn't go to waste. Laughing so much that I didn't quite dodge the next attack though. Totally worth it! Good luck with the Monster Fluid hunting!
  11. I have a nice little Kecleon one that I never take off. Because I can't, it's not a cover plate.
  12. Ah, you're just like me. I find this strange as well. Ace Attorney really hammered this point home, there were people who were massive fans of Ace Attorney, yet were adamant about not buying Dual Destinies because it was digital only. Most of them never traded in the previous games, and yet hated the thought of owning it in digital form. (Of course, they might have changed their mind since then, but let's assume they didn't) I mean, if you're not gonna trade it in, is it really that big a deal?
  13. 1 problem I had was the general difficulty and harshness those caves had. It was far too easy to get completely destroyed and be utterly screwed. It was more frustrating than fun to me. It also was part of the main problem I had. Pikmin 2 just dragged on too long. It's why I liked Pikmin 3, it got the length right for me, while not being as restrictive as Pikmin 1. It struck a nice balance and the amount of multi-tasking the Gamepad provided helped to make you feel more efficient.
  14. Maybe not all of our tastes. But I like to think we have some overlap. After all, we both like Monster Hunter. And if you're saying that it's your "Favourite game of the year" (Fixed that for you), then it should be worth a look, right? Plus, the trailer was intriguing.
  15. I think @Ronnie is over exaggerating the negative reactions a tad. You ever considered that it's predictable because there's a grain of truth behind it? On the other hand, I agree with the notion of some of those games being the best those series had to offer. Smash 4 is astonishing in it's lineup and gameplay, but I'm not gonna deny some things were questionable, I missed the Brawl Adventure Mode something fierce. Mario Kart 8 may not have as many online options as Wii, but it's safe to say that the actual racing gameplay is WAY better than Wii. Pikmin 3 is the only Pikmin game I actually enjoyed, so for me, that's a no-brainer. And while @King_V likes the cave system in 2 for it's adding to game length, I hated it for that exact reason. What one person sees as a positive, could be an absolute turn-off for someone else. (And being a PMD fan, I've had my fair experience of that)
  16. So I've done the first case, and I loved it! Very ridiculous and very entertaining.
  17. I'm gonna take your word for it on this one. Fingers crossed, you're on the mark with my tastes.
  18. A very interesting topic. I wouldn't think I was too picky. I would definitely say I've become more picky over the years, but that's due to trying new stuff in the first place. Personally, I wonder if people have become too critical. Naturally, as people grow older and get less free time, they're much less willing to tolerate irritants in games. Sorry to use you as an example, @Hero\-of\-Time, but your playthrough of Dragon Quest 7 so far is an interesting subject. I wonder if back in the PS2 era, you would have been more tolerant of the focus on NPC's and their stories? Don't get me wrong, it's a perfectly valid complaint. But I do find it intriguing to think if you would have tolerated it back then. I also wonder the same thing about when I played FF8. I still maintain the game has many, many flaws. But I'm sure if I played it back when I was a kid, I would have been more OK with it. Despite that, I think I prefer having a more trained eye on games I enjoy. I'm much less likely to stumble across a game I hate these days.
  19. Well, I'm available from 5 to around 9 tonight. Ugh First Aid should be there as well. Considering it'll likely be just us, methinks it's time to get you some high rank armour. The armour Ugh First Aid uses is the same as mine, the Glavenus set. It gives Sharpness +1 and Heavy Grinder. Heavy Grinder boosts your attack temporarily whenever you use a whetstone, which being a Dual Blade user, is a lot. Using the slots, it's very possible to get Handicraft to +15, giving you Sharpness +2. The biggest downside to that though is you'd have the same armour as me. And we all know how unfashionable I am. (Then again, if we manage to do that event quest, I plan on changing to the Star Knight set as it gives Wide-Range +2 naturally. And I love healing everyone.) If that bothers you, we could always go for the Astalos set, after all, it does make you look glowy and cool. And the high version gives that awesome Chain Crit, Halve Stun and Stamina Recovery. Those are the two Rarity 6 armour sets I think Dual Bladers would benefit most from. So it would be nice if we had a plan whenever we started. If we manage to get some armour for you, I'd like to attempt that event quest for those Dual Blades again. EDIT: Righto, I'm gonna go online now, Ugh First Aid is a tad too tired to join in at the moment, she might be around later though. So I'm gonna do some quests solo, feel free to jump in whenever you like, @S\.C\.G
  20. Oh come on, Pokemon fans might be stupid at times, but wouldn't pay those kinds of...
  21. Right, let's try that one more time then. Are you interested in some hunts from 5pm, @S\.C\.G and @RedShell?
  22. That's precisely what you did. It's dangerously close to my title. (A title you makefor yourself out of set phrases) It's at the top left of this screenshot. 23. Please people, I need some kind of clarification. I'm not the only one here who thinks £30 is an utterly insane price for Pokemon GO Plus, am I? I just bought the newest Ace Attorney game off of eShop for 5 quid less! I'm right, right? That's bonkers!?
  24. That intro was painful! It took so god damn long! Running back and forth constantly. Ugh... Not to mention a couple of times I just flat out couldn't find Kiefer. Dude can't stay in one place! But gotten past that and it's random good-deeds time already!
  25. I'm smacking that hunter gong! What's that? The gong's not in Generations. Crud... I'll just shout then. OI! WHO'S UP FOR SOME HUNTING OF MONSTERS THIS WEEKEND!? I've got the weekend free and I want to murder things! @S\.C\.G, @Hero\-of\-Time, anyone else, who's up for it? I should be available from 8pm tonight.
