I know I'm normally the first guy to be all about New control methods, but the Pro Switch is more appealing to me at the mo. It's the separated D-Pad on the Joy-con. I'm not big on the separated D-Pad. Of course, early days still.

So I finally got the first part of the demo done. Why are all the fanfares so abrasive and crap? They're really bad! And that Poke Center remix starts off good, but then gets awful halfway through! Anyway, other than that, it's Pokemon. So it's all good. Ash-Greninja only gets a measly 30%-ish boost to Attack and Special Attack? And it doubles Water Shuriken, but who honestly cares? That's pathetic! Protean Greninja gets a 50% boost to non-STAB moves along with being able to switch it's typing. And it doesn't need to kill a Pokemon to do it. My shiny Greninja has nothing to worry about. @ReZourceman can take it. I cannot give it to him fast enough. Back to blackout for me now!

Nah, it was done to annoy me. That's the only reason. I wont accept any other reason, no matter how sensible they may be! If that's actually the reason, then it's a horribly misguided step that will encourage the boring over-defensive play that made Mario Kart Wii as boring as it was.

Yeah, that was funny. Smacks of "Please, please, please buy the PS4/XBone versions!" Watch, in a few months, "Check it out, here's a Switch version, you can take it on the go now! You should buy it again." I remember Rockstar doing a similar thing with PC versions of their games. Might be wrong about that though.

I am sincerely hoping the dual items thing is optional. Over defensive play in Mario Kart is the killer of fun. Although it's hard to be completely upset, King Boo with his confusing heavy weight and his non-existent feet (How do you even accelerate!?) making a much needed return has got me pretty happy. And I'm totally OK with them building upon Mario Kart 8. And I wouldn't be averse to another Season Pass as ridiculously good value as the first.

If this is the Next Brexit, does that mean we'll all vote on it and then totally balls it up? @Serebii's right though.

It was totally planned, I knew you'd finish the job. Just needed to distract the Zinogre. Totally cacking myself the whole time. Well, that Astalos was pretty efficient, apart from that moment we both jumped off a cliff to follow it to a new area, right into the path of it's charging attack. Thought to myself, "Oh no, it's learning!" at that point. Anyway, you up for another Hunt Sess, Gee? Maybe @RedShell wants to bounce wit us and square up in some Mon's Bizz? Not sure if DizzleCubed will be there, have to rap wit him 'bout that. ...OK, I'll stop now. Boyeeeee

Dat thread title. Oooooh, that's very cheeky. It's one step closer to Pocket Monster Hunter, so I am A-OK with this! And I love the Pokemon-ised SMB artwork. Someone had fun with that. They missed an opportunity not making the other Pokemon look more like the Mario enemies though. Give Blastoise a spiky shell and that gorgeous hair Bowser rocks. (Guy totally conditions) Is it just me, or are the Blastoise line being depicted as the bad guys more and more? First Origins, and now this.

Oh well, might as well enjoy this as much as I can before Mario Kart Switch goes backwards with it's two item slots and completely ruin the best thing Mario Kart 8 bought to the series... I know I said it before but I HATE that they're bringing that back. Races are gonna be as one-sided as the Wii version again...

There's a very big reason why it couldn't be. And that reason is Game Freak. They're not exactly the most tech-savvy developers. Also, I'm the guy who wants Pokemon to stay portable because I actually play it on the go. Don't pretend I don't exist.

OK, I'm just gonna go ahead and say that those Gold Rings have been in previous Mario Games. I wanna say they were in 3D World. You go through them, you get 3 coins.

It's a Mario game. There's a Triple Jump and a Long jump. There's a Mexican themed level. There are coins and hearts. The camera looks set like the Mario 64/Sunshine cameras. Not much else to really see here.

It took me about two hours. Although, I seem to have had a lot less trouble than the majority of players. Some people just couldn't get their heads around it. You definitely don't want to skip the tutorial.
