I'm playing through Final Fantasy IX on Steam with an XBone controller and I'm having the exact same problem with X and Y. That Sword Fight minigame was hell to get perfect on.

I think I'm siding with @Grazza on this one. But I'm not upset really, because about a year or so ago, I told myself "Glen, you're a devishlly handsome chap and this is gonna be a Zelda game in name only" And so far, I'm half right. I went into this telling myself this isn't gonna be a Zelda game, and I'm fine with that. I wasted hours wasting time exploring both Xenoblades, this is right up my alley. Hell, Hyrule Warriors is closer to traditional Zelda than BotW. But to it's credit, it's an actual departure from the norm, unlike Pokemon Sun/Moon.

He used an adapter. I think there's an official one from Ninty.

Yeah, it's creepy how well they work. Sword Fight is a good showcase of how well it works, felt very realistic. Catwalk is the best game though, provided you've got the room.

Started playing, 10 shrines done. Every single death has been caused by morbid curiosity/stupidness. Stumbled across a sword that has 36 attack. That's not getting used for ages. Love it!

Well, clearly the two of us now have to conspire to kill them all and take their Switches and stamp on them out of pure spite.

Yep, that title theme is still very funny. It's so forced and clumsy, it brings a massive smile to my face listening to it. I kinda wanna mod it to the Castle Siege stage in Smash.

To be honest, you not gelling with it is great news for me! It's a pretty good sign that I'll enjoy a game lately.

Some countries are lowering the price of the PS4 Slim for only 1 day. March 3rd. Germany, Belgium and Italy so far.

Mario Maker 3DS was the first I ever saw, so it's not just you. I like how much more aggressive Ninty are advertising this time. Sure, it means I'm sick to death of Switch adverts. (That woman looking over his shoulder on the bus is clearly a tourist. No Londoner would do that!) But that's a sign of a prominent advert. EDIT: Am I the only one who's calling shenanigans on the whole "First open-world Zelda" thing. Sure, as far as 3D games go, it is. But isn't Zelda 1 open-world? You can go anywhere in the overworld immediately upon starting a new game with no transitions, other than the screen scrolling.

Exclusive, eh? Guess we now know the price of getting a trophy in Smash.

You can also expect a whole bunch of Gen 1 Pokemon. And a really irritating way of finding people online. And ear-gratingly awful fanfares. Other than that, it's a solid Pokemon game. A lot of people think it feels fresh. I don't agree one bit, but eh.
