  1. I'd be up for that. Parties aren't really my thing. Unless copious amounts of gaming are involved. If more people are sad like me, We'd have to start coming up with some kind of consensus on what games we should play. Because not everyone has the same games as everyone else.
  2. Yeah, if you thought Wonder Boy was tough...
  3. Yeah, SD cards have kinda stopped going down in price lately. You can just delete and redownload later though. I believe the option is called "Archive Software" which keeps your save data but deletes the software. 128 GB might be for you in that case. EDIT: On a side note, I want to use the word "Schmowzow" more.
  4. OK, move aside, let me show you normies what crazy is. I'm only gonna post my 3DS activity log this year, because these days my WiiU isn't just played by me due to local community center Smash ups. I guarantee hundreds of hours were spent on that game though. As for my Switch, most of my gaming was done on @Dcubed's Switch, and I can't be bothered with the dreadful excuse of an Activity Log. 3DS - Total Play Time - 2,086 hours and 5 minutes over 84 titles. Pokemon Sun - 373:19 Puzzle + Dragons Z + Super Mario Bros. Edition - 229:14 Monster Hunter Stories - 171:09 Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call - 138:14 Dragon Quest VIII 137:14 Pokemon Ultra Sun - 129:50 Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia - 122:35 Pokemon Art Academy - 116:32 Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride - 103:52 Pokemon Conquest - 70:08 Colours! 3D - 51:09 Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya - 48:53 Hyrule Warriors Legends - 43:52 Dragon Quest VII - 36:25 Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance - 32:20 Team Kirby Clash Deluxe - 26:15 Final Fantasy III - 19:09 microSD Management - 18:39 (OK...) Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story - 17:35 Lufia: The Legend Returns - 15:37 Bravely Second - 15:08 Pocket Card Jockey - 14:01 Monster Hunter Generations - 11:43 Streetpass Mii Plaza - 10:34 Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime - 9:53 Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros. - 9:19 Miitopia Demo - 8:31 (I need to get that game) Pokemon Alpha Sapphire - 8:06 Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove - 7:26 Flipnote Studio 3D - 7:06 Other stuff - 74:48 Around 800 hours less than last year, which shouldn't be that surprising given how late we're into the 3DS' life and what with the Switch nibbling away at the time there. I pretty much doubled my time spent on Pokemon Art Academy, which is probably due to my New Year's resolution to get one picture done a week. That also explains the surprising amount of time spent going through files on the MicroSD Management thing.
  5. Well, if it's any help, I just got a 200GB one, it was around 70 quid. If you're planning on going mostly physical for your games, that should be enough for any downloads and eShop games you pick up. Unfortunately, the 256 GB cards break past the 100 quid mark. And that was too rich for my blood.
  6. I don't really set resolutions for myself, but last year was an exception, I told myself I'd draw at least one piece of artwork a week. Yeah, it doesn't sound like a big deal. But some of my arty followers over on DeviantArt would agree that I am usually notoriously slow at drawing. So I wanted to get some kind of consistency going. I managed to pull it off though! Well, I still have to upload a picture this week, but that's been ready to go for a while now.
  7. Well then, allow me to share three of my favourite tracks then.
  8. Yep, as far as games from that era go, this game is definitely on the more manageable side. While you are punished for death, getting sent to the village and losing secondary items, you still keep your money and permanent items. So given enough time, you could use the money you've accrued to buy equipment to ease your progress or even hoarding potions to effectively quadruple your health. It's a nice balance that encourages skilled play but doesn't make it too lofty that only the ultimate player could get through it.
  9. Man, as much as I think 4 is an all round improvement over previous Smashes. An adventure in the same vein as Brawl's would single handedly elevate it even higher. If only for the strange team combinations we see in cutscenes. Little Mac and Duck Hunt Duo team up to unleash the power of NES on the bad guys, but oh no! Something goes wrong, but right at the last second, they're saved by Cloud because why the hell not? Or even just have Palutena and Bayonetta having to begrudgingly team up to save the day with pole dancing or something. If only...
  10. Are you assuming that Ninty have been working on a new one since Smash 4? I don't know about that. You have to remember that Sakurai put himself through hell developing that game. I'd be surprised to hear they've been making a 5th game for 2018.
  11. I'm available all day tomorrow, just give me a London time and I'll be there.
  12. Ok, @markderoos, I'm ready when you are. You might want to remind me of your in-game name so I don't accidentally give Pokémon to the wrong person.
  13. While I understand this mindset, the sheer amount of time it takes to make a new Smash Bros has become astronomical. And let's face it, after MK8D and Pokken DX overtaking their original WiiU versions, it makes so much sense to capitalise on Smash 4 which is one of the most loved WiiU games.
  14. Oh, OK. My personal guess would be Smash 4 port. Personally, I hope Pokémon is out in 2019. Sun/Moon have a hell of a lot of moments which gave me the impression that it got pushed to meet a deadline. And let's face it, it had the same kind of announcement as Metroid Prime 4 (It exists). I'd be surprised if it made 2018.
  15. That's the only explanation that makes sense. Especially seeing as the previous X/Y didn't even have a third version. US/UM itself is pretty damn light on new/tweaked content. I don't really keep up to date with game sales, but Sun/Moon did poorly? I swear I was led to believe that the Pokémon GO hype gave a huge boost to sales?
  16. Eh? Am I missing something? Pokémon wasn't even mentioned.
  17. Well, I can easily get a Phione by breeding Manaphy and @Ugh first aidhas a spare Mew to hand. Can't help with the rest, unfortunately. Would you be available to trade at around 6pm tomorrow? I should have everything ready by then. You'll need 14 Pokemon you don't care about trading away
  18. Just checked and I have all 9 USun exclusive legendaries. My battle music obsession was more prominent than I realised. So I'll put those aside for you. I had a look through my boxes and I have a spare Celebi and Victini. Celebi will be available in Virtual Console Crystal soon, but I don't see any sign of Victini showing up any time soon. Do you want them? EDIT: @Ugh first aid may be able to help as well. She'd like to know what mythicals you're missing though. So she can check her boxes.
  19. Yeah, I'd probably agree with everything in the spoiler. I'm afraid I don't have any white variants of the Flabébé line. Sorry. Seeing as I have Ultra Sun, chances are that Reshiram is exclusive to my version. If there are any exclusive legendaries from Ultra space I don't have but you need, I'll be happy to go grab them for you.
  20. Excuse my ignorance, but for the sake of clarity (Or remindation, totally a word) How does every other developer handle an online focused genre like this?
  21. I needed that laugh. Sure, let's take that 20+ years of developing a massive, deep, battle system with a humongous amount of choice in strategies and go with something new! If that's not a massive red flag, I don't know what is. There'll be tweaks, there might even be a new mechanic like Megas and Z-Moves, but the basics will still be there. Monster Hunter Stories called, it wants it's idea back.
  22. It's a more interesting way of getting old legendaries than the way OR/AS handled it, which was incredibly lame and uninspiring. The Gyro controls are pretty unwieldy, but thankfully, you can switch to Circle Pad. I found it easier once I realized that you reset to the center when you let go of the circle pad. (In other words, the position of the circle pad is the position of you) Personally, once I adjusted to the unorthdox controls, I quite enjoyed going back in there now and again to build up my Battle music collection. Nothing amazing, but a fun little diversion. Music is cool too. Now, here's a return volley question. I assume you've seen the credits, if not, just don't click this. BTW, I have plenty of spare legendaries (And your Castform) from my Ultra Space excursions, so I might be able to save you some annoyance if you don't mind trading around. Or if anyone else wants them. Just give me some notice.
  23. That's the name of my Christmas Rap Album.
  24. Also, it deserves extra credit just for this alone. I'm particularly fond of Chief Feathers and his ridiculous Down Smash, Bayonetta would be proud. I also like Hyper Light Drifter. A sword user that actually feels different to anyone in Smash. Kudos. Provided every player has a good connection, the online is nice and smooth. We've only seen 1 Vs 1, mind. We'll have to see how it copes with 4 people. But yeah, I agree with @Dcubed This game is surprisingly polished. I'm looking forward to future updates. And maybe some N-Europe get togethers.
  25. This game has been steadily getting DLC quests since it came out. But the latest added a completely new monster for the MonHun Series! It's called Kuranei Goukami You need to beat a pretty difficult Platinum Tournament to get it. But I've already snapped mine up.
