@RedShell can get two steps closer to his dream team of electric rats!
-
You joke, but I know someone who'd explode with excitement and happiness if Lloyd Irving got in. And I think he has a decent chance for second Namco character. Also, that's an undeserved crack, only Hero fit that sword wielder style. Byleth managed to get away with it by having loads of weapons.

Wasn't someone here complaining about how rubbish the box art for Sword and Shield were? Hope you're happy now.

Someone forgot that Origami King literally just got a Spirit Event... If I were to use the timing as a basis for a guess, I'd say it coincides closest to either Pokémon or Hyrule Warriors. So, I'm gonna go with a Gen 8 Pokémon, hopefully the correct choice of Pokémon gets picked. If they go the Hyrule Warriors route, then I would say Impa was the only reasonable choice. She's appeared in way more games than any of the 4 champions and neatly sidesteps the problem of one Champion being picked over the other three. (Kinda like how Byleth was the only realistic choice from Three Houses, choosing one house leader would've annoyed the other 2's fanbase) Of course, Sakurai is an utter madman, so it could be a completely left-field third party pick for all I know. While I think Monster Hunter is a lot more likely now, I think that will happen closer to MonHun Rise. Namco are really overdue a second character at this point. So either a Pokémon (Hoping for Toxtricity), Impa, or a third party character. God, I love me some Smash hype!

So... Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire then?

It's difficult until you figure out the tell that the bird is gonna turn 90 degrees, and it does so slowly that if you on the neck, it's a piece of cake to stay on. I only died once, and that's because the clouds in Sunshine are completely solid for some silly reason. So I dived into the side and bounced off of it to my death.

Bodes better for SMB 35 at least.

I just can't be bothered, got one acorn after shaking trees over 50 times and thought, "No recipe is worth this". Amazingly enough, I have better things to do.

Makes @S.C.G's 70% affinity once he activates Repeat Offender look a little less broken, which is bonkers. That said, it's cutting, which is great for monster parts, but doesn't gel with my Chaos Oil shenanigans for bashing monster heads in and going for KO's. Also, you mad man, did you do that XV quest by yourself!? I know Prowlers are broken and all, but geez. At least you don't have to break Raging Brachy's horn to get your best weapon for fighting multiple monsters in one quest... Yeah, Sword and Shield has it rough sometimes.

Afraid not, it'll have to wait until next weekend.

They're the autumn DIY item (Like Spring Bamboo and Summer Shells for those seasons), so they'll stick around until December.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity (20th November 2020)
Glen-i replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Seems appropriate, Impa was a straight up Samurai in the first Hyrule Warriors. But yep, that sure looks like Hyrule Warriors. Digging Impa's shadow clone mechanic. Very cool. Also nice to see that the tone shift isn't stopping Koei Tecmo from doing silly attacks like Link's shield surfing. -
The real upgrade there is being able to use the phone app to do reactions. Way better!
-
Yeah, I'm sure he is, doubt he's got anything better to do anyway.
-
Is that a not so subtle request for some hunting shenanigans?
-
Nope, he's the name that started with an M. He's also the best Smasher here by far. The one that starts with a C is @LazyBoy. I was dealt such a bum hand with Snake there. A not so great character for a stage so dependant on jumping ability, and I had to deal with Pichu, Pikachu and Yoshi. I lost before I even begun.

Turnip Prices Thread - Playing The Market In New Horizons

116 here. -
Fair point. Over here, it was called "Action in New York" which is notable for how completely bizarre of a title that is.
-
You forgot Scat. Who doesn't like a good bit of Scat? That's an NES game.

Smash's rendition of Stickerbush Symphony is really underrated. It's an interesting take on a great piece of music that, let's face it, would not have fit Smash Bros very well if it went with the original's style. Is it better? Probably not. But it's a cool tune to fight to. However, since then, Ultimate has given us a DKC 2 remix that I think improves upon the original. That sneaky little snippet from the title screen song is just the icing on the cake. (BTW, the title screen theme for DKC 2 is called "K.Rool Returns", nice touch there. Even more appropriate when you remember that K.Rool has been missing from gaming for 10 years before Smash Ultimate.)
-
@drahkon and @Rummy, now that DKC 2 is out, just let me know when you want to start our co-op runs. I'm free Friday and Saturday.
-
Nice to see that even when fighting @Sprout, the two of us can take the time to co-ordinate attacks on @RedShell because his shield broke and it'd be very funny to do so and even do synchronised taunts after he's sent flying. Good games, everyone!
