@viceview51, I think we narrowed our focus a little too much on that last round.
-
OK everyone, remember that we'll be doing one round after the next GP results screen. So don't go running off.
-
Wuhu Town, then GP2
-
Umm... This isn't going well. If it happens again, we might just have to give it up for this week. We'll do 9 more rounds otherwise. Resume from Wuhu Town.
-
Got disconnected at Wuhu Town, will need someone to give me the results there.
-
Guess we're doing that match again then...

As a Star Trek non-fan, I feel like I need to say that I really enjoyed Lower Decks, even if there were bound to be a bunch of references that flew over my head. That said, I did chuckle when a character mentioned Kirk and Spock and the gadget showed an image from that really old animated series.

COVID-19 (The artist formally known as Coronavirus)
Glen-i replied to bob's topic in General Chit Chat
Must resist urge to point out you already had no sense of taste. Bugger... Sucks that symptoms are developing. Here's hoping it doesn't get any worse than that. -
Right, week delay, but I'm sure you guys don't mind. Not like you had a choice. Here's the table. Next set of games will be up later tonight.

Normally after Stamina, I do Time format, but because next week is when Steve will drop, I'd rather save Time for then. So Stock format tonight. 9pm.

Yeah, most bosses in Galaxy attack Mario out of nowhere, because they either work for Bowser or are some malevolent spirit. Major Burrows is harassing a rabbit for no good reason. Who would do such a thing!?

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity (20th November 2020)
Glen-i replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
The posing a certain character is doing there is giving me mad Lana vibes. -
Yep, Lakitus basically initiate an endgame situation. It just constantly snowballs because you can almost never leave them behind and have to kill them eventually, via Star, Fire Flower, POW Block or finishing the level. And it's always funny!
-
Actually, there's always a current when you're swimming above holes. In every single version.

Given how out of the way the DK coin is. My money's on Screech.
-
Same here, just pointing out the hopelessness of having a list of 1.
-
Oh, you want to make your prediction official? Because the way you phrased it made it seem like you were only semi-serious. But I'd be happy to oblige. Naturally, I'd have to also take into account the "number of characters" penalty I apply for how far off you are there, which would leave you with a grand total of minus 29 points. That cool with you?

Another review, another opportunity for me to contribute to this thread. Nexomon: Extinction n-europe review

One thing to keep in mind with Wind Waker. While the rings of light that Treasure Charts get you will have stuff from the item pool, the other rings of light that need no chart won't. So you don't need to haul up every chest in the ocean to make any progress. (They still have rupees though, so it's a decent way to make some cash) I find Wind Waker to be a much more exciting randomiser than OoT because it's item pool has a lot less junk chests (Although that's entertaining in it's own way). The only downside is the various sea platforms can be hard to keep track of. Might be worth writing down which ones you've looted and which ones you need to come back to. (Especially with the Boomerang, which is the way to destroy cannons and possibly make chests appear) I was enjoying my time with the Random Waker until the game crashed and I realised I hadn't saved in over two hours. There was no way I could remember what needed to be done again and I was too heartbroken to continue (I was almost done). So yeah, save often. Don't be me. I think enough time has passed for me to ask @Dcubed to reroll the seed and give me another crack at it.

Oh, I did it on my attempt, you hold left once the race starts and you hit a barrel that sends you flying forward. Makes getting 1st a lot easier, the only problem is you have much less time to react to holes. Proper embarrassed there. Man, this game is a true classic.

Good session @drahkon more than halfway to the normal ending. Once we do that, we can go back for the few bonuses and DK coins we miss. I really have to commend your performance on Rickety Race. Coming in 1st and getting the DK coin without that backwards boost start trick is very difficult. To nail it on your first try was spectacular!
-
The stuff you could do with creating blocks boggles the mind! Steve has the potential to be an edge-guarding monster!
-
OK, @drahkon. I'm gonna open a room now.

In that case, I should explain the difference between Team and Contest, because I misremembered the details. Team has us progress together, you'll control Dixie in that scenario and if one of us finish, we both progress, we also both share any secrets we find. I was slightly wrong about Contest, we both control our own monkey duo, but you're on your own as far as level progression and secrets go. Me clearing a level doesn't mean you can skip it like in SMB3.
