    Defo some funny shenanigans there. That 3 Kirbys, One Byleth, for example. And it has to be said, @Ike had the best comeback of the night with that match on Mementos where I was Zero Suit Samus. I legit said "Wow"

    I can barely organise a game of Turtles on launch day! So good luck with that. It is neat how easy it is to do, even if Mario Kart Wii is nowhere near as balanced as 8 Deluxe. It might as well be called Funky Bike.

    It's clearly inspired by EarthBound. But the subject matter is real grim, so you gotta be ready for that. I'm intrigued to jump in when a sale happens.

    This is where I'm at too. Like, I'm not complaining, because it's fun just to do a few levels in co-op, but if they put down some more characters, or some kind of side story to fit more villains in, I'd likely buy it. It's just pure, unadulterated fun, and I want more of it. I did Story Mode on Gnarly difficulty, only to realise the achievement specified Arcade Mode. Woopsies! Got some practice in, I guess, and some more level ups. @Hero-of-Time, are there a limited number of continues in Arcade? Because I'm not the best at these kind of games, and depending on how lenient it is, I might not be able to pull it off.

    You know, it's not hard to be neutral. Unless you're playing Shin Megami Tensei, then it's very difficult.

    So I saw this thread on Era asking why Crisis Core is so funny. And I'm starting to think I might have missed out on not playing it. To those of you who has played it, is it really as ridiculous as this? Because it might have sold me more on this game then anything else ever. Hope this remake keeps the same tone now...

    @drahkon, I played the sequel, Nexomon: Extinction. Reviewed it for the site even. If you haven't tried it, you should give it a go. Defo my surprise hit of the year. I heard it improves on a lot of things in the original (Which I have, but haven't played yet).

    It just dawned on me that Final Fantasy VII Remake's whole "Change Aerith's fate" shtick is basically Special Episode 5 from Explorers of Sky, except non-optional, and likely not done as well.

    And now I want that theoretical remake more then ever.

    Credits are rolling. Amazing game, I can see a lot of replays in the near future. Hopefully with some people from here. Music is on point too! Panic in the Sky is especially noteworthy.

    I've heard the XBox version has been having quite a few issues with online play. All I can say is I have had no issues.

    Would've been nice to be able to catch the Urshifu style you didn't choose... For most people, anyway. I already have both. Don't have a separate Kubfu though... The items are pretty sweet! Guaranteed Choice Bands, Armorite/Dynite Ore, and a very easy way to get Max Mushrooms, so if you were too lazy to get some Gigantamax forms, now's a great chance!

    Yep, I'm inclined to agree with you at this point. A shame too, because I was hoping for a Game Pass release of Remake, because it looks legitimately fun. I've never actually played Crisis Core, mostly because I'm quite wary of Final Fantasy spin-offs, but discount this enough and I might bite.

    I mean, yeah. It makes perfect sense in the Switch's case, but then you look at XBox owners, who I imagine are more like... That's just a slap in the face for them. It's funny, seeing as XBox is doing surprisingly well in Japan for once. Persona 5 still not being on Switch is just Atlus being Atlus, they're weird with what platforms they go for. Switch can run The Witcher and Dragon Quest XI, it can totally handle P5.

    So, Activision launched an investigation into themselves, and concluded that they did nothing wrong. Nicking some quotes from Era here... Well, doesn't that totally clear things up? I'm sure the "comparatively low" number of victims will be fucking delighted to see this. Straight out of the Tory Playbook, that. Utterly gross.

    So wait, they're releasing this on Switch, but not FF VII Remake? It's Persona 5 Strikers all over again! EDIT: Oh, XBox isn't even getting Remake before this either? That's even funnier!

    Yeah, I agree. Much better balance between funny and serious. The flat "What?" a certain character says cracked me up!

    It dawned on me that the game uses just the right number of buttons that you can use the SNES controller perfectly well with this game. That was definitely done on purpose.
