A couple from me. BTW, @Dcubed's so called amazing shot on Choco Mountain didn't take. Afraid lag was to blame. You got my shield shell instead.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: N64 & SEGA Mega Drive (& GBA!!)
Glen-i replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Discord. @nekunando frequents there as well. I see @markderoos and @Dufniall there more often then here as well. -
If a miracle happens and they ever give the 3D action game style of Other M another chance, (Because there is a solid base there) I can guarantee the title and plot will have nothing to do with Other M. Metroid isn't allowed to try plot anymore.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: N64 & SEGA Mega Drive (& GBA!!)
Glen-i replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Hah! What a couple of nerds! What next? Talking about how to make the best Crit build? I do mostly use Discord for online gaming shenanigans. The chatroom nature is fine for that kind of thing, but actual proper discussion about news and such just tends to get buried if it gets too active. Also impossible to archive stuff there, so to me at least, it's no replacement for a forum. -
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening REMAKE — 20th September 2019

Pretty damn close, you should give the game a go. It's solid. -

I've not heard the FF6 one yet, so I'll wait until that before I consider it. -
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening REMAKE — 20th September 2019
Glen-i replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
You're right, @darksnowman. I started that song just now, and felt chills almost immediately. What the remake did with the Face Shrine music is nothing short of amazing. It took a very repetitive song, and somehow molded it into orchestral majesty. It's the pinnacle of that soundtrack and makes it hard to go back to the original Game Boy songs. As far as remade soundtracks go, Link's Awakening might just be the greatest there's ever been. Well, except maybe PMD: Rescue Team DX. It's hard for me to choose between them! -
I mean, the other two games had the Peach/Daisy costumes, which stopped Bayo from doing her typical "losing her clothes" thing with wicked weaves, yet somehow were more raunchy then her actual outfit somehow. The funny thing about that is that the initial design for those were more conservative with the outfit then the final version, until someone at Nintendo stepped in and said that they needed to be more racy because it fits Bayonetta better. I hope Bayo 3 has some more Nintendo inspired outfits. They were fun, especially because they actually affected her moveset a little. (Wicked Weaves being replaced with Bowser himself when wearing the Peach/Daisy outfit, the Fox outfit giving Bayo mini Arwings for guns, complete with double lasers when powered up, etc.) Also really funny in cutscenes, seeing as they were mostly in-game ones.

I mean, yeah, but most people buy that controller for either the C Buttons, or the Control Stick. I just find it amusing that you're using PPL as the breaking in game. -

A game designed to be played with the D-Pad? Interesting... -

You two should play Sin & Punishment to celebrate. That game is so not made for a Pro Controller! -
Huh... Out of all the things Bayonetta could've nicked from her appearance in Smash Bros, I wasn't expecting the toned down hair loss when wicked weaves are in play. It's an option though, so I'm all for it's inclusion. Especially with a name like that!

There was a Bayo 2 demo on the WiiU.

Pokémon World Championships 2022: London (18th-21st August)

Almost 4 months of checking Serebii.net every day (I say that like I don't already do that anyway...) and we've finally got a heads up on this! If you want tickets, it'll be worth checking TPC's Twitter account, or Serebii.net over the next week or so. They're liable to be sold quite quickly. -
Oh, well that sucks. The 1TB one was at 88 quid last night...

Unfortunately, Kirby illicits everything except sadness! You were doomed to failure before you even started!

So, the Colosso mini-game from Golden Sun? I'm down for that!

I mean, really old games losing online features like online multiplayer is understandable, but not being able to reinstall DLC that people paid for just isn't right. I hope this isn't another "Horse Armour" situation where the community just lets it happen. But with how old a lot of these games are, I'm concerned it will happen. That said, I'm not surprised that Ubisoft is making another attempt to push how far they can screw customers over. Par for the course with them.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: N64 & SEGA Mega Drive (& GBA!!)

I guess in that case, Konami not giving a flying fudge about Goemon is probably better for it's chances here. Because I certainly don't see them making a collection for it any time soon. -

Glen-i replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I can't remember, but has any Konami game come to NSO? Because I get the feeling they'd rather make their own compilations and sell them, rather then let Nintendo use them there. And well... when was the last time Konami cared about Goemon? It's the standard problem with third parties on this service. -
Relatively new as in "since Ultimate first released" In Time matches, you get a point if you KO an Assist Trophy. The person who summoned it can also KO the Assist Trophy when it's at low health, but they don't get a point for that. That's a thing you can do if you want to deny an opponent the point. I like that feature, adds a fun little wrinkle to Assist Trophies. But keep in mind that some of them (like Nintendog) can't be KO'd.

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition (29th May)
Glen-i replied to ArtMediocre's topic in Nintendo Gaming
It also makes some connections to Xenoblade 2, and not just because Shulk's Monado is the "Monado REX". I still groan about that one, but there are a few hints to the sequel.- 198 replies
