Yeah that works great. I always thought games like Gears of War should have had an option to have NPC teammates' audio only output through the headset, so it mimics the in-game headset that your character uses. I think Destiny might have something like that. One of my favourite moments with the DS4 was when Delsin picks up a helmet in Infamous: Second Son and you hear the audio from the helmet comms through the pad's speaker. Worked perfectly because it was like you picked up the helmet yourself. Dat immersion.

I love the quirkiness and inventiveness of Tearaway's UI, but I did get bored with it pretty quickly once that novelty wore off. I guess I'm not the kind that can just be kept on board by fun controls (probably why I hardly bought any Wii games). That said I do intend to go back and give it another go.

To be honest, I think that MS must've offered them enough to cover the potential maximum sales they stood to receive. I can't see any other reason why they would accept the offer, considering the fallout. Well, I'll probably buy an Xbone one day, even if it's about 5 years down the line. I guess I've just got a really long wait for the sequel to one of my favourite games of last year!

Not sure why you're on MS' side on this. There's nothing good about this move. Even if you're an Xbox One owner, you would've gotten this title anyway. It was only considered a sales failure by Squeenix's unrealistic standards. Clearly a sequel has been in development for a long time before MS' money came into the picture, so it can't have been considered that much of a flop.

I can't remember exactly how he said it but maybe it was like "Rise of the Tomb Raider will be coming to Xbox One exclusively in 2015", as in, other consoles will get it in 2016? But what would be the point in the trick phrasing? We'd know the truth long before the game was released.

Our host has said we're using too many server resources and is constantly adding restrictions to our site. Caching parts of the front-end and presumably limiting connections, so you will occasionally get a 403/500 error. I've just turned off a bunch of non-essential forum features which will hopefully reduce load a bit.

Can you be more specific? A table crashed yesterday, and I had to close the forums for a bit. Got it fixed around 4.15pm BST though, so whatever you're experiencing might be unrelated.

This game isn't good enough for a remaster, IMO. A bit above their station. That said it's probably not an expensive process to churn it out....

I remember saying the same thing over and over again in the N64 and Gamecube era... As for this, hope it's good, but Capcom have gone massively downhill and are one of the worst offenders for bad ports and microtransactions/DLC etc lately. I don't want to see outfits and extra modes behind a paywall... Also, they should do Resi 2, it's given so little love in terms of re-releases, compared to the others. And do we really need a 360/PS3 version in early 2015??

Not so sure about that. Nintendo and Microsoft have both dropped the ball this generation. So many people are moving from being devout 360 owners to the PS4 without giving the Xbox One a second thought. A huge number of my 360 friends list have vanished and popped up on Sony's side.

I watched the first new ep and have kinda forgotten since. It was a kinda dull opener and although I know it'll get better, it killed my excitement for it a bit. I'll probably get onto the next few eps tomorrow.

I doubt they'll ever be simulcasting it, but it would be nice to see one monopoly threaten another (Crunchyroll)
