Although the developers behind World of Goo haven't spent the intervening years proving themselves to be an insufferable dick so hopefully they'll do better.

It's out now and just looked and it's £25.19 (guessing it's some kind of launch discount). Think I'll wait a bit.

In fairness he can time travel which makes getting money easier.

Incorrect. TVs at the time were hefty enough you could play the portable consoles while sat on them.

The horses in that game also look like they've been ridden by Charlotte Dujardin.

Maybe as much damage as that brain worm did to him?

Not sure if admins should be bullying @bob like this

That's Mario's shoe Oh wait I just watched the video and no it's not. Me being dumb.

Oh it's not an exact classification, but it pretty much is along those lines when it comes to awards. It's why something like Desperate Housewives was classed as a drama and sure it had (melo)drama but it was a comedy.
-
Comedies = 30 minutes Dramas = 60 minutes That really is pretty much the extent of their classification.

The keyrings are cool, which a lot of people in Tokyo seem to agree with.

Nah I get that. Those sites that don't allow you to reject all data collection I bounce off of. "Legitimate interest" my eye.

Worried it will judge you for how many games you complete?

Well... Let's see how this goes

It is on my list of things to look into but not had time. In the interim if you find an old one you can copy and paste it.

I don't know how it works for Apple Pay but for Google Wallet it basically sets up another number. The last 4 digits shown on receipts does not match the card, meaning if you return something and they ask to see they'll have to see the app rather than the card itself. And you need to verify payments by unlocking and my banking app needs biometrics to get in and a password to set up a new payee. So overall my first worry wouldn't be about them getting banking access, it's more the personal things. Although I did see a news story a while ago about a lot of people being caught out when their phone was stolen and they got into apps by requesting a MFA code that appeared in a text notification on their lock screen which is worth bearing in mind. And for the love of god don't set your passcode as a birthday of you or a relative and don't use your kids or pet names in your password.

They just need to release a few more variations and then the next console can be called Svvitch.
-
I did see someone suggest it may have something to do with EU legislation dictating about charging methods as before this the only way you could charge them was to have a console which isn't exactly "open". Who knows.

Sounds like he's buying baby number 2. I also don't carry cash around. In fact I don't even carry a wallet around anymore. The only cash I ever have is from a friend who borrows money and sometimes gives it back in cash and then I just take it to the bank periodically.

We're not changing our name to N-America. O-Canada maybe...

I'm just glad I flew out on Wednesday... Although there is that part of me that is worried payment systems here will be affected and I don't have cash.

Any major aspect of gaming that just... passed you by?
Ashley replied to Jonnas's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Aside from helping my grandad with his Xbox/360 and testing RROD while at Game I don't think I've ever really played a Xbox console. I've certainly never owned one (if that wasn't obvious) and other than a brief fad of colleagues buying a 360 when it came out* I can't even recall anyone I know IRL having one either. *One colleague did constantly point out how EA was pushing "realistic sweat" in it's titles on the console. -
I have been summoned! I did pick this up but long ago as I saw it in CEX. Now I just need an N64. It was one of those games I rented a few times because I couldn't afford to buy it but really enjoyed it and I'm not a huge racing person. In fact famously I disdain cars. But it's a fun game.
