The3rdChildren Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Anyone know of any good scary movies on tonight? I could do with a good'un to watch, especially considering the date.
Iun Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Not a big TV watcher, but I might put on Resident Evil Apocalypse. *shudder* Such frightening acting....
triforce_keeper Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Hocus Pocus! Love that film. Dunno whether its on though :P Not scary but I think the witches are funny
Iun Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Hocus Pocus, arguably Bette Midler's best performance. AND... interesting movie to a video game here: The song "Almost Unreal" by Roxette was originally going to be in the movie "Hocus Pocus" (it contains a repeated "do that hocus pocus to me" line) but it ended up being one of the themes in the Super Mario Brothers film.
Monopolyman Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Seven, or Friday the 13th Prehaps. I might play Eternal Darkness instead. That is, if I have time. Bloody UCAS personal statements.
McMad Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Seven, or Friday the 13th Prehaps. What time and channel is Seven on?
Fields Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 BBC1 are showing the classic Halloween at 11:45, while at the same time you can catch the 1979 version of Dracula on Channel 4. The former deserves your attention IMO. EDIT: The prospects seem slightly better for those with Sky. You've got The Exorcist on Sci-Fi, A Nightmare on Elm Street on TCM and Sleepy Hollow on Film4.
