Garden_Pigeon Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Funny Instructions Very funny. Those instructions are actually on products n'all.
bob Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Good, but read them all in New Scientist about three years ago.
Lammie Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 Reminds me of a quote on BASH.org... Something like "Why don't we remove warning messages from everything and let the idiots take care of themselves".
soag Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 LMAO, those are simply awesome, I've seen some silly instrustions myself but none as good as those. (Keep out of children) simply brillant
Johelian Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 (edited) I like the one on the food processor; "Not to be used for the other use." I have no idea what its supposed to mean. I was waiting for the Superman one the whole way down the list; I love that ________ Dc marijuana dispensary Edited February 16, 2011 by Johelian
Guest Jordan Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 Hahaha, that superman one is class. That can't be real, i mean seriously?!
Garden_Pigeon Posted October 7, 2005 Author Posted October 7, 2005 I had one of those tesco's tiramisu dessert at the time and at the bottom it does actually say "do not turn upside down"
er-no Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 Earlier today I was installing another DVD drive and happened to skim across the Pioneer instructions. 'Do not splash DVD drive with water or place in vase' Glad I read it, was about to have a water fight around all my equipment.
The Peeps Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 Earlier today I was installing another DVD drive and happened to skim across the Pioneer instructions. 'Do not splash DVD drive with water or place in vase' Is that also saying not to put your DVD in a vase? why would you? :S
RoadKill Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 You'd need to find a mean ass vase to fit a DVD player in it.
Wesley Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 the one about the pudding made me laugh the most. The vision of someone turning a pudding upside down and reading it is just great.
Ice9 Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 I have one from Marks And Spencer trousers that says 'Keep you child away from fire'
GoonFace Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Lol, that's brilliant. Do not iron clothes on body :lmao:
Charlie Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Seen most of them before, but they're still really funny. The superman one is awesome.
Maxi678 Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Awesome. I've seen some of them before, but it is nice to see these new ones for a change
Surrealist Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 I had one of those tesco's tiramisu dessert at the time and at the bottom it does actually say "do not turn upside down" Damn you, I was gonna mention that! Seen the rest before though yeah, all good.
elniro Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 wow stupid as hell, wonder how much the people who came up with those instructions got paid
Cat Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 Well it's not a stupid as you'd think. I guess they mainly put those warnings up for stupid people -and y'know there's a lot of them out there- to avoid lowsuits.. i heard of a woman that put her cat in the microwave to dry its hair, and when the cat died she sewed the micorowave company because it didnt say "Dont put pets in microwave, will kill them" on the manual. Apearantly she won too! So, i get it.. better safe than sorry.
