HeroMan and Senkou no Night Raid for me.

Also Mardock Scramble.

Based on Tow Ubukata's sci-fi cyberpunk novels, the story is about a teenage prostitute named Rune Balot who is almost burned to death at the hands of her boss, a casino manager named Shell. A doctor named Easter and his mouse-shaped assistant Eufcoque rescue her and regenerates her body into a living weapon. Now with super-human abilities, Rune goes after Shell and the corrupt inspector Boiled for revenge.

GIANT KILLING

It’s another sports anime, but this time it’s one about football (soccer). Mitsumi Takeshi was once a star player in his Japanese club, East Tokyo United (ETU), but left the team to become a manager for a club in England. In only a few short years, he takes a division 5 amateur club to the top 32 in the FA Cup due to his seemingly unorthodox yet effective tactics and his obsession with “giant killingâ€, a football term for when an underdog amateur club upsets a professional one. He’s sought after by ETU to become their new manager and revive the club that deteriorated after his departure, but the die-hard fans still feel betrayed and are outraged by his return.

I'm fucking watching this one! :o

Have you seen the blu-ray bonus Omakes?

Shame we cant understand them.

Ha, I only watched the first one, but I'm currently reading the Mange through to kill time (it's hard to follow which characters are talking in this) so it was fresh in my memory as to what they say.

It's quite odd no one is subbing those though.

I decided after years of putting it off, that I'd finish watching death note - to be honest I got kinda bored when

when light gave up his power

and I stopped watching.

but now i've restarted and gotten up to episode...25.

where light has regained the note and destroyed all of his obstacles, including L. :o

I really wish I had watched it sooner - I see now why everyone says it so freakin awesome. <3

I quite liked Darker than Black.

I have only watched the first episode yet but what i saw threw me into a mix of "what the hell" and "ooooh, we want moreeeeee!". So yes! Will definitely give it a look! :D

Adoring Soul Eater so far, though. I'll never think of symmetry without facepalming again, LOL!

I've wanted to watch Darker than Black for the longest time myself. Downloaded it al once ages ago and when I was a media player noob and it never played, deleted it all :heh:

Been wanting to pick up a new anime to watch, so might get round to getting this. Same with reading One Piece. One of my friends continously goes on about thow epic it is. But consdiering it's 10+ years left depresses me.

The best thing about Darker than Black is that every story arc is 2 episodes. First episode, scene is set stuff starts happening, second episode stuff keeps happening conclusion. It's quite nice and makes it easy to find good places to take a break from watching.

I did the same thing R_a I got a decent ways into Death Note got bored and never finished it, I just read about it on Wiki and decided meh.

I'm glad i'm not the only one! Once it got to the

corporate man getting the note it was real boring for me. The whole goody good light was really... Urgh. Wrong.

I just finished the very last episode.... man it was crazy. I cried when

lights dad took the eyes and saw that light wasn't kira, then died. It was almost like light cared, but it was the name he was after... And L dying, I really didn't want that to happen >_>

Just sooo sad. ;__;

There's sth very saddening yet that enraged me deeply about the end of Death Note. The way things just unravel.... aaaaaaagh! But Ryuk.... had his last laugh. :) Bravo!

As much as I enjoyed watching soul eater. It was nothing compared to reading soul eater. Just like the animation group did for FMA, it cut the episodes to 51 so they had to change the ending. Soul eater is still continuing in manga form, and it is getting better and better.

I read all up to date for a manga called Psyren this weekend. A great shonen manga. None of the typical, 'find it within myself' awesome new powerup to use. Its all about having the power, but finding the brains to use it effectively, and the characters are really good. Similar to Bleach in drawing style, as some critics have said, but this is why I like it!

EDIT: It appears you joined last month. I may be late in saying this but Welcome to the forums! :bouncy:

Ooh, I like your style. You've hit two of my favourite animes on the head right there.

Lucky Star is all kinds of magical winsical bears. :yay:

So funny and just great.

Slice of life anime? moar liek Slice of Lulz anime. :p

Soul Eater is all kinds of fun as well. (EXCALIBUR) Many great characters mixed in their with a good story to boot. Even though for me the ending was a bit rushed.

Darker than Black, I'm one episode away from finishing the first series. I like the characters but the whole story felt very disjointed moving on from one thing to the next. It started out well and with so much promise.

The whole remuneration idea is great but could have been utilised so much better. :) It annoys me because Darker than Black is good enough but it should be GREAT! :D

The cat is awesome.

I shall watch the second season as Hei appears to look like a hobo. Do Want.

DO EET!

Watch One Piece just try not to think of how far there is to go. If you do then you will stop. I did and stopped for half a year!

Though now I'm on 287 so I'm slowly getting there. You will not regret it!

Death Note. Glad to see you finished it. I prefer the manga which Iread after having seen the series BUT Death Note the anime is fantastic.

Although it remains good until the end I feel that it doesn't reach the same heights after.

They Kill L which was and still is. :(:(:( Near just lacks the same charisma in my eyes

I've said the word great too much in this post and for that. I apologise.

Yeah I agree.

I wasn't expecting Mello's death either, I thought he'd trumphantly come in and they'd get Light together! L's death was rubbish, I really liked him! =( The little guy just wasn't quite as believable with all his tracking satellite ability... Light's father dying was so uber uber sad.. but made it a great story. Light's death seemed a bit... meh... but finished off the anime very well. I'd have liked to have seen Misa's death incorporated somewhere, seeing as she made the eye deal twice.

I know some people prefer the second season, but I don't personally. It's still good but it's a little different. Plus it has that terrible "transform" typer scene that the best example I can think of is Sailor Moon, where you watch a lone character change. Terrible!

And Hei doesn't just look like a Hobo....

The only reason they killed my dear L was because he could never best Light, so they killed him off and brought in 2 people to put against Light. Why I prefer the movie ending.

Lights dad death was sad for sure. He had so much inner turmoil regarding Light since it began and could finally rest happy, though he just got used. Was a real shame.

I like to think that even though L and and Kira were enemies,

Lawliet

and Light were friends. I always had the thought that behind it all, there was some sort of friendship there and without the DeathNote, Light would have been an L
