Dyson Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 The first one was very good. The second one was unexpected, but funny - perhaps a little too long though. Don't even get the last one, or maybe I do, and don't think it was funny.
Paj! Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I was going to post a lovely video Liz Phair made to make clear the fact that she's given up working with production team The Matrix, to go back to her superior indie roots. She fights Morpheus in it, and other jokey things. It's not that funny unless you're a fan though. Therefore no video in this post.
Dyson Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 So why post about it in the first place? Post the damn video.
Paj! Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 So why post about it in the first place? Post the damn video. Because I felt an intense internal struggle when trying to decide whether to post it or not. Here it is; Bear in mind when she started working with The Matrix, she went from being one of the few great female rock artists of the 90's, to being a pop slut, with songs called "Hot White Cum" and "My Favourite Underwear". Among others. Glad she wasn't being totally serious. I can't recommend the album shown at the end enough. Thats a masterpiece of rock/indie. REAL indie.
Paj! Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 That video was enjoyable. Thanks for posting it! I do love how her flipping her hair somehow transported them both into the matrix. And her insincere laugh at the end. Look up the cover art to her self-titled album to add context...

Ashley Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Its old but the ballseyness of this advertising campaign still amuses me.
chairdriver Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I loved. Why was that woman so briliant? Using a towel so well. So obviously having 16 defense and combat reflexes.
Paj! Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I loved. The brilliant, if derivative and knowing prequel to the original.

Paj! Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Good lord was that bad. It wasn't funny in any sense of the word. ---- I liked that Ricky Gervais video Jimbob. For some reason I find him alternatively charming and off-putting.
