dabookerman Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 According to gametrailers Fifa street even made the top ten, americans eh.
CVD Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 ISS64 is better than the heap of shit on the 360 known as Fifa World Cup.
Jon Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 The best Football game is clearly sensible soccer on the Amiga.
m_fergy Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 The best football game ever was FIFA 1996 for the PC it was an amazing game. After that they changed it far to much
Fierce_LiNk Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 The best football game ever was FIFA 1996 for the PC it was an amazing game. After that they changed it far to much I owned both the SNES and Megadrive versions of that. Loved them both, great games. I also enjoyed Fifa 98 and Fifa 99 on the N64, and they were great fun in multiplayer.
mike-zim Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 I am enjoying worldcup on the DS if you can get past the graphics thing then it is brilliant if there was an analog stick on the DS it would be alot better. but that is not the fault of the game.
dabookerman Posted July 7, 2006 Author Posted July 7, 2006 There should only be 3 Fifas on that top 10, Fifa 98, Fifa 99 and Fifa on snes/megadrive
Guest Jordan Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 Fifa 98 was the best Fifa game ever made. Awesome soundtrack, fantastic and totally unparrelled visuals on the PC version and great control. Not to mention the awesome in door stadium! Fifa World Cup 98 was also a pretty good game if i remember.

Fierce_LiNk Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 To be honest, i can't say there's a fifa title that i haven't enjoyed. The only ones i haven't played are 2002 and 2006. Fifa 97 was the first one i played on a PC and not a console, and i think that was quite a big highlight for me. Fifa 2000 was the only other Fifa i played on a PC, and i enjoyed that a lot too. THAT had the best soundtrack. "Baby its alright. Baby its al-righttttt. ITS only USSSSS!"
Zell Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 It's called PES people. PES > All other feeble attempts.
Fierce_LiNk Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 As good as Pro evo is, my heart still lies with the early Fifas.
BeerMonkey Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 fifa 94 on mega drive was best ever..but then again thats the only footy game ive ever owned :/
Platty Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 fifa 94 on mega drive was best ever..but then again thats the only footy game ive ever owned :/ Yeah when you scored you tape the buttons and get goaaallll or trumpet or fireworks.... loved it!
Fierce_LiNk Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 Yeah when you scored you tape the buttons and get goaaallll or trumpet or fireworks.... loved it! Hahaha. I love doing that with some of the other Fifa games. On 96, i used to love scoring just so that i could mess about with those celebrations. "gooaa-goo-gooaa-gooo-gooaaaaaallll"
BeerMonkey Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 u could stand in front of the goalie on fifa 94 and make him kick the ball into you for a quick goal...ah that was great stuff.
Sarka Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 ISS64 is better than the heap of shit on the 360 known as Fifa World Cup. Thank god someone has some sense on these boards! ISS was the best football series ever. My brother still plays it, though I hat efootball so I just have to put out with the wonderful commentry instead of playing.
Mikey Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Fifa 98 was the best Fifa game ever made. Awesome soundtrack, fantastic and totally unparrelled visuals on the PC version and great control. Not to mention the awesome in door stadium! Fifa World Cup 98 was also a pretty good game if i remember. Try going back and playing them now dude, they're horrific. Haven't aged well at all. Trust me, I've still got RTWC '98 and WC '98 on my N64.
Charlie Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 FIFA 98 was amazing. FIFA World Cup 2002 was terrible, with the star players and what-not. ISS Deluxe on the SNES was absolutely amazing, I loved that game. I can still remember all the commentary. Yes, all 5 lines.
Roostophe Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 Konami are the best when it comes to Footie games. Although FIFA '99 was a good game. Pro Evo is greatastic. ISS98 wasn't in the list. Is there actually any difference between ISS64 and ISS98?
