Unless the chord going from it goes to the FHC??? More than likely it just plugs into the GC slots??

Dante Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 The Final design of the Wii -Remote. The shell controller plugs into the bottom of the remote
Guest Stefkov Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 the power button has turned round! old: http://things.wordherders.net/archives/revolution-controller-at-a-glance-20050915061358181-000.jpg new: http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n10/e3_2006/wii/img_con/photo_controller.jpg and it looks longer, or is that just me? the B button iunderneath has become rounder, like the 360 L and R buttons, also to answer the smaller//longer thing i think he A button has gotten smaler.
Jay Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Nice find, it looks like a SNES pad with sticks on it - I hope its not wired though it would appear that way - Perhaps thats just to plug it into the freehand controller. Thoughts on the conference? Absolutely superb - The games look absolutely great and although I was disappointed not to see Smash Bros. I'm more than happy with what we've got. The graphics all look nice in motion and there's a nice range of games, it basically looks like we're getting smoother versions of Gamecube/Xbox games, graphics wise. I look forward to hearing impressions and seeing more footage and I also hope we'll see some more stuff from the bigger third parties such as Konami/Capcom. The final controller design is gorgeous - I wasn't taken by the idea of having two A and B buttons and having 1 and 2 buttons is a great idea. The final design looks more streamlined and sexy than the original whilst still retaining the same style, nice to see the huge connector between nunchuk and wiimte is gone too. I'm really excited now Disappointed not to hear details on pricing/launch though

Guest Stefkov Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 i just realised theyve come up with the solution to using the force in a star wars game, use the analogue attachment! and we stil dont know whats behind the lap, i was hoping for that
ShadowV7 Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Conference was fantastic, downfall no SSB and launch details.
Din Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Super Paper Mario looks brilliant! The controller looks alright. It's just a SNES pad with analogue sticks.

Hellfire Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 not smart BGS now so many ppl will go there it will crash.
solitanze Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 What a total disappointment, We waited a year for this mediocrity? Shame Nintendo... Sonys conference was better than this, at least it had one suprising element, unveiling of a motion sensetive controller. What did Nintendo have? Nothing except games that were expected, no real suprises, Why hide the price, contemplating a price rise, money hungry... Very little mention of Connect24, no SSB, unless its on the show floor, it seems as though, the console is far from completion, PS3 will probably release before Wii, and RIP Wii... I guess it was only supposed to be an overview of what to expect, but still very disappointing. The secret was just an in built speaker, why build up the anticipation like that, just for a gimmicky feature like that? Wii = Almost certain to fail, will probably be priced too expensive, inferior graphics, appears as though games are rather gimmicky, but i'll wait until some hands on reports are released before I make my final decision on purchase.
Atomic Boo Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 metroid corruption- fantastic read shit shit shit it sounds amazing!!! grapple beam takes enemy shields away!
