One thing I never understood, why does the Racoon suit grant the ability to fly when Racoons quite clearly can't?
I always thought it was related to the flying lemurs, thing.

Although the only reason I can think of is a mess up :heh:

I cannot stress how much I am looking forward to this, I'm only a few minutes into this video about a new level.

The shadows are amazing, the gravity is amazing. How he uses the gravity of one planet to rocket him round, like spaceships, to get to another part is amazing.

I wants.

I'm just glad we're seeing this game this year as I was worried it'd be 2008 for us.

Still, beautfil looking game.

Nope, this will be THE christmas blockbuster, I honestly don;t see anything that could challenge this little beauty

I'm surprised actually that we're getting Galaxy so soon after America. What are the exact dates again, for comparisons sake? Hopefully this means we won't spend too much of 08 without Brawl and Kart.

for some reason IGN has this listed as August for Europe, but this is most definitely a mistake. Would've been nice though.

Q4 2007 Europe

November 12th in US if i'm not mistaken mate!

End-Of November/December for Europe i reckon! :)

Easily my most hyped game for 2007 along with Heavenly Sword/Drakes for PS3.

EDIT: Oh and Halo 3, Assasins Creed...lol :D I could keep going!

I agree that Halo 3 will be big. But I still don;t see much on the PS3 horizon that interests me.

As a footnote, I love the way people over on YouTube are flaming each other over whether Halo 3 or Killzone 2 will be the 'best shooter ever!!!'.

This game looks fan-bluddy-tastic.

Also it looks like you only ever have 3 bars of live, not just in certain places from those screens.

No, because the Bee World walkthrough shows Mario doubling his life bar from 3 to 6, by collecting a big mushroom.

And yes, this game just looks SO awesome!

It's great just seeing some green pipes scattered across the place! classic!

In motion that last pic looks even better. That level, the stardust or something it looks soo nice with the backdrop having so many stars and the black hole.

I saw that vid, it's just too awesome! I hope they use the gravity a lot in puzzles and weird platforming fun, the bee thing looks a bit useless.

This game looks so freaking amazing. I just cannot wait for this. It's leapfrogged Brawl and Assassins Creed in my most wanted list this E3. Just, the sheer possibility for level design in this, it's unlimited. The programmers making this must have had so much fun.

"Hey, can we have a section where Mario has to spin around a planet a fwe times to gain speed, and then ping out into space at high speed?"

"Sure, go ahead! Throw it in."

"How about a giant pill shaped planet where Mario drops in and moves to 2-D for a bit?"

"Go for it!"

So hot. So so so hot.

My god, that looks sensational. Just proves what the wii hardware is capable off (an awful lot by the looks of things).

WOW.

Just saw two stages in full motion and I must say this is very beautiful. The only caution I reserve is whether the camera will be able to cope, though.
