Wesley Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Don't get me started on that game! Overrated as hell and generally boring. And to hell you shall fall. Sorry, you seemed like a nice guy.
Daft Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 What time GMT is Microsoft's conference tomorrow? Don't have a 360 but like to watch them all (will actually miss the other 2 because of work) and Microsoft often show 3rd party multiplatform titles with the idea that they are better on 360 cos of achievements and live etc... It's on Monday.
dwarf Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 And to hell you shall fall. Sorry, you seemed like a nice guy. What was good about it? Lack of detail and variety made it dull to look at.
Dan_Dare Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 sauce? much as I'm inclined to say wooty wewt at the sight of more Halo, that screen could have very easily been doctored.
Wesley Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Bungie website duuuuuh. Seriously Choze you always get called out for posted a link, why do you still not?
Hero-of-Time Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Halo:Reach...hmmmm. Wonder if it will be based around the Fall of Reach book? I started Too Human today, nearly finished it with just the last chapter to do. Its not as bad as I was expecting, still not amazing but easily worth the £6 I paid for it.
LegoMan1031 Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I'm working 15:00 till 00:00 so im going to miss the conference... I shall to have a good read of everything that has gone on when i get home!!!!
Wesley Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I just found out on GiantBomb that the new Bethesda project is with Splash Damage and is an FPS. Colour me excited.
BeerMonkey Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 just looking on gamespot and it says 22 hours until MS's press conference so 8am (uk time) tomorrow? is that right?
McPhee Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 Teaser for a nex-gen project from Bethesda titled "Brink". http://gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/24836 I'll admit, after playing Oblivion, what I'd class as my first 360 title (I came in a little late to this gen after a period of little interest from traditional gaming) and being blown away by it; and then enjoying Fallout 3 loads; I'm a bit of Bethesda fanboy. Love these guys so I'm super excited for their projects. I hope they show something of this at E3, I don't see how they can't. I also hope they show their Wii project, too. You'll be less happy to hear that they've abandoned the Elder Scrolls series for the forseeable future then. New projects can't be bad, but i'm not too happy about that news
Wesley Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 NOOO! *melts* *watery bubble pops in the sound of "Link?"*
Shorty Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 I am actually glad I did not take PoP off my rentals list as I have really enjoyed it
Gizmo Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Well, looks like my 360 is on it's way out. Got the RROD today, though it's now gone after letting it cool down. But that's a warning shot, so I give it maybe 2 months max. Almost 2 years to the day when I got it, aswell.
arnold Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Not sure if anyone knows of this, jsut found it while browsing hotukdeals 12 Month Gold for 28.95 at Shopto Instant code purchase, gets added to your shopto account as soon as you buy it, to say they're gonig for 40 quid this isn't a bad price at all.
Babooo Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Guys I need your help. Basically today I just set up my family's new broadband connection, moving from Sky to Talktalk broadband, and I've found out that there is a 40GB download limit, which I'm quite worried about. Cos as a family, we download alot, i.e tv episodes, movies, music, tv streaming etc. We 4 practically all have our own laptops too so alot of web pages will be loading. But the most important thing (for me) is the use of Xbox Live. If I play on average around 2-3 hours a day (hey, no job and summer holidays baby!) or even more, how much of that will eat up the monthly allowance of 40GB?
Dan_Dare Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 don't quote me, but i'm pretty sure online gaming is negligible in terms of limits. It's all based on tiny data packets (all the complicated stuff is done on your machine, see) so it's really small numbers. course, I could be talking total shit. I've never had a dl limit but I'm sure I've read that before.
LegoMan1031 Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 I have heard the same as Dan Dare in reference to that. What will start to eat it up is the downloading of TV shows, games etc. Or if u download alot of game demos on ur console.
Pantsu Man! Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 (edited) It's not much I think. I was on a 5GB download limit a month at Uni. I played online a fair few times and had enough to browse the internet for the rest of the month. When it came to download demos, that was hell. A gig for a demo is never nice. Anyone order Star Ocean, or whatever it was called from zavvi for £17 that time? Mine got sent today. Forgot all about that. Edited June 3, 2009 by Pantsu Man!

Wesley Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 I'm playing through Assassin's Creed, and there is a soldier who is dressed as one of... my guys. I picked him up with the fancy view and he is also acting weird. Anyway I can get him to come out or do I just kill him?
