Wasn't sure where else to put this, but RwanLink - who put the trailer for this together - has shown off more of what their Castle Town looks like...and gimmegimmegimme It looks beautiful Edited November 22, 2023 by Julius 2
FalcoLombardi Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 I don't even think that Link & Zelda should be in the movie all that much. They should be semi-mythical figures that show up in the background (or at the last minute) to kick some ass. Instead, the story should be about some villagers trying to survive Ganon's onslaught. 1
RedShell Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 Now this would be a Zelda film that I'd absolutely love to watch: Also, Lol @ Tingle! Sure as hell nothing like what we're going to end up getting, but with AI generated video improving so damn quickly at least there's a chance that an entire film in that style could be created some day. 1 2 1 1

Really wasn't expecting anything of substance until after the Switch 2 Direct. Lovely little 25-second clip backed with the classic Zelda theme. Kind of shocked they haven't posted it to their YouTube channel, at the very least as a Short.

BowserBasher Posted Friday at 05:46 PM Posted Friday at 05:46 PM Nintendo must really be confident that what they have will work as a live action film here. Threes no way they’d risk the Zelda franchise with a subpar film? Right? Right?
Julius Posted Saturday at 03:06 PM Posted Saturday at 03:06 PM Filming in New Zealand from November this year until April of next year, with a brief description of the film sounding like it could be most Zelda games Per FTIA's Production List: Quote Shoot Date: November 04, 2025 to April 07, 2026 Locations: New Zealand Project Summary: A live-action adaptation of the video game franchise. ‘The Legend of Zelda’ follows Link, a young warrior destined to protect the magical kingdom of Hyrule from the forces of darkness. The land is under threat from Ganon, a ruthless warlord who seeks the Triforce—an ancient relic said to grant limitless power. To stop him, Link must embark on a perilous journey, battling monstrous creatures, exploring treacherous dungeons, and solving intricate puzzles to uncover sacred artifacts that can aid him in his quest. Very curious to see how the puzzles translate to the big screen. Linkiana Jones? 1

Julius Posted Saturday at 06:56 PM Posted Saturday at 06:56 PM DanielRPK (Daniel Richtman) shared on his Patreon that this project is planned to be a trilogy of films released over six years, and with the aim of major roles unsurprisingly being cast for the entire trilogy. (Not going to link someone's Patreon, so here's the VGC article on the topic)

Dcubed Posted Sunday at 03:23 AM Posted Sunday at 03:23 AM Hmm, a trilogy of fantasy movies, filmed in New Zealand... Nah, never heard of it before. 2

This is disasterous! Peter Jackson's gonna call them out for trying to ape his most famous movie, that he filmed in that country! Spoiler The Zelda Film is donezo! bob Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Nah, they're going to get Jackson (and Serkis) back together again to film the live action Donkey Kong Country film instead. Serkis will be every character. 1
