Posted March 9, 2020 I'm playing through Onimusha Warlords for the first time on Switch and I've mostly enjoyed it up until now but this Queen Bee boss fight is really starting to piss me off. It's an incredibly cheap fight, she spawns in constant waves of her annoying 'babies' and she seems to have an absurdly large health bar. I've got maybe four or five big combos on her, as well as the occasional jab, but she doesn't seem to be close to going down. My health eventually gets too low to be able to recover and I end up dying, I must have tried this 8 or 9 times so far and for some sick reason the developers didn't include the option to skip cutscenes so I'm forced to sit through the same annoying dialogue over and over again. Also doesn't help that the last save point is with Kaede which means I'm unable to turn the herbs in my inventory into medicine so when I do get super low on health I can only recover a fraction of the health bar with a herb. I'm determined to persevere but it's really annoying - haven't got this angry at a game in a while. Rondo of Blood was difficult but it all seemed pretty fair for the most part, this is just cheap game design. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Using it will bring her to the floor where you can unleash lightning and fire attacks at her. Keep doing this until you run out of magic and then kill the minions to replenish your meters. Thanks man, I've been using the wind to lightning tactic but when I run out of magic I get overwhelmed by the minions and end up getting killed. I looked at some guides for this boss and they all seem to recommend the gun but I don't have it - assumed I couldn't pick it up yet - so I'm obviously hamstrung but I think I can do it. Posted March 10, 2020 I managed to beat her last night but I had to do it twice because I'm a moron. Beat her, got the 'honour' pop up, and watched the cutscene but had very low health. I assumed that using the great bow would take me to a save point rather than immediately into a boss fight so I got killed without saving and kicked back to before I beat the Queen Bee boss. Took me another few attempts to do it again but I actually looked at the map this time and realised there is a save point like right near the room Kaede is taken to. Spent some time grinding for orbs and went to pick up the gun once I'd done that, can't imagine Marcellus will be as annoying as that bee but I'd rather go in fully upgraded and tooled up anyway. Posted April 1, 2020 Just a headsup: Invisigun Reloaded is on sale for $0.99 on the US eShop. I've played the demo and it was quite fun. In singleplayer it's kind of a puzzle game but it's apparently much more fun in multiplayer. I'd say it's an absolute steal at this price (it's down from $20!). Posted April 16, 2020 (edited) Just bought Picross S for a fiver. I've always been interested in these games. Giving the first one in the S series a go seems like a good start. Puzzles are very easy for now but I've only done 7 out of 150. And then there are Mega Picross puzzles, but I won't touch them until I'm done with the regular ones. Love the concept of these puzzles. A great game to play while listening to music/podcasts/audio books/porn.
