2nd of November Switch eShop releases;

Switch eShop
Chess Ultra (Ripstone, €12.49 / £9.99)

Chess Ultra got a really nice write up and review score over at Nintendo Life, so I'm really tempted by this now, even with it's 9.99 tag.  It's crossplay, with asynchronous and real time online play.

Hamster has gotten the rights to publish Irem's titles on the Nintendo Switch. The first game in the pipeline is Arcade Archives Zippy Race, which is scheduled for a 2017 release. In the future, you can expect to see Arcade Archives R-Type and Arcade Archives Front Line on the hybrid system.

I need that R-Type goodness.

@Grazza have you played Robo Army? It's part of the Hamster Neo Geo games and is a side scrolling beat em up. I came across it during this weeks EZA Huber Syndrome episode. I snapped it up and im really enjoying it.

Cheers.  Not played it, but hope to fit it in (hopefully they'll have a half price sale as I've bought loads!)

So many games. Must resist buying them all at launch!

It’s incredible how many devs are throwing titles at Switch. Every week seems to have new announcements.

Especially coming from the WiiU, Nintendo have done a LOT right behind the scenes and it is paying off so far. Let’s just hope there are more day and date 3rd party releases in 2018 and devs don’t just crank out ports.

Either way the system is a dream for fitting into my lifestyle with work/responsibilities and all these games are fantastic. I tend not to post as much these days (now married/house owner/more responsibility at work); but it’s great to see Nintendo back and being appreciated in the industry.

BoTW and Odyssey also prove they are still pioneering developers in the industry. (Faith restored!)

One game for @Dcubed and one game for @Grazza

Hamster has two more classic games coming to Switch next month. VS. Super Mario Bros. and Double Dragon are both lined up for the system.

These two games have their release dates listed in a Japanese software catalog. VS. Super Mario Bros. will be up first on December 22. Then on December 28, we’ll be seeing Double Dragon.

Awesome! We’re finally starting to get the regular non NeoGeo ACA releases now too! :D

Them getting the rights for Double Dragon, despite it seeing releases on other consoles by a different publisher also bodes well for the chances of a proper ACA NeoGeo release of Windjammers one day too! :hehe:
