The original was amazing so I was slightly let down when I got ToD on the PS3, but then again that might've been nostalgia infecting my judgement.

Smart move to tie it in with the movie's release (which looks ace). Like @S\.C\.G I've never played it before (having never owned a PS2) so I look forward to it.

Both the game and movie have been delayed to Spring 2016. :(

Just what the hell have Sony got in terms of original exclusives for the end of the year? Outside of 3 ports ( Tearaway, GoW3 and the rumoured Uncharted collection ) I can only think of Until Dawn.

Rime will come out surely. Then there's the likes of ABZU and Wild hopefully.

I reckon we might see The Order DLC akin to Infamous First Light.

And No Mans Sky will likely be a big push for them.

The Witness still hasn't materialised so that must surely be almost done unless there's been some huge issue with it.

There are a few games from last E3 that we haven't seen anything from; that Move sculpting thing?

They surely have a couple of surprises up their sleeve.

And of course Last Guardian.

True but I was thinking more along the lines of a big AAA game and the likes of No Mans Sky, The Witness and Wild don't appeal to me. I can't wait for Rime though.

I would love some standalone content for The Order. I thought the game was great and it would be nice for them to expand the story a little more through some DLC.

The move game you mentioned was rumoured to be a Media Molecule project that would be paired with Morpheus.

Yeah No Mans Sky doesn't appeal to me much either, so I really wouldn't like to think its a huge title for them. And I haven't seen anything from The Witness to interest me yet.

Bring the games Sony!

No Man's Sky won't be out this year. Everything they've shown has been pre-rendered on a high-end PC. It's all smoke and mirrors designed to build hype. The game is still in early stages.

But the film is being shown at a festival tomorrow.

Where the hell is Rime? its one of the reasons i wanted a PS4 and we've seen very little of the game
Yeah, it's been quite a while since anything was shown, will be a shame if it doesn't make 2015.

Same for The Tomorrow Children, I really hope that will be released this year.

If that's the case then they showed that game waaaaay to early. I've already lost pretty much all interest in it.

It's a tiny studio and weren't expecting the hype to start so quickly. The biggest reason it got so much attention at the start was because everything else at the show it was revealed at was utter crap.

That's not true. The made a massive noise on purpose, so they could own some mind share. It was all completely calculated. That live session with 65 Days of Static, that shit doesn't happen by accident.

It's still my most anticipated game ever. Seeing as I'll never be able to explore space myself it's as close as I'll get and it's the game I've been dreaming about since I was a child.

We'll hopefully get a release date at E3 but I'm optimistic it'll be this year, although probably towards the end.

IGN

Insomniac’s animation and storytelling chops have always felt solid, but the performance bump from PS4’s hardware is evident at a glance. From Captain Quark’s hilariously one-sided narration to a Galactic Ranger tryout session that has crowds of cheering fans floating in the distance, the high fidelity cutscenes and equally impressive gameplay engine look almost indistinguishable. Whether I was using the hydropack to swim, swatting down minions with the handy Omniwrench 8000, or jumping across gaps using Clank’s familiar Helipack, I couldn’t help but notice tiny nuances in each of the animations.

GameReactor

Do not make the mistake of thinking that this game is a fast and simple game churned out to reinforce the film and launch in time for the premiere, like so many others have done before. Nor is this a remaster or a cheap remake of the first instalment. From what we've been playing, it will be a rounded and fully fledged R&C, with modern mechanics and graphics, all packaged up with all the charisma and appeal you'd expect from a game in 2016.

What impressed us the most during the two hours we played were the levels themselves, which look beauty and appear to boast variety. Equally we appreciated how well you can move and control the characters. If you play the PS2 original, you'll notice that the difference is almost embarrassing. These new controls are smooth and accurate - faster, more accessible - and the visuals are bright and breathtaking.

Game Informer

The classic gameplay of Ratchet & Clank remains mostly unchanged; there’s still plenty of platforming, crate-smashing, and enemies to blast in this new take on the PS2 original. However, the reboot adds all the advancements that were made to the formula over the years, like the streamlined controls and the experience system of the more recent titles. Ratchet also has an expanded arsenal of ridiculous weapons and gadgets from the entire history of the franchise, along with some cool new ones like the Pixelizer (it kills enemies by lowering their resolution). It’s all simple but fun in the same way that it was throughout the early 2000s.

I'm a huge fan of the series so a Day 1 purchase was always on the cards for me. Even better is that it's launching at a budget price for some reason. ::shrug: Not that i'm complaining. :D

I am so excited.

I love this series.

When is it out, do we know yet?

When I bought my PS4 last week, I got really excited as there was shelf behind the counter with a row of what looked like, this game on. I asked if that was actually out but the lad said no, just for show. Dreams dashed. :(

It is out 22nd April. I think the movie is out around then, as well.

This looks so goood! I forgot this was coming out soon and it's budget price too

I've not kept up with the series but i do remember having a good time with one of the games on PS2, I played through it with a friend. Definitely looking forward to this.
