I beat a level 50 amiibo once, but only once, it learnt my technique for winning and adapted at a guess. So either I need to adapt of realise now my amiibo can only be a sparring partner for the time being. Out of interest, are there people out there who can consistently beat level 50 amiibos? I ended up getting Pikachu, Yoshi and Link for christmas. And the Mario Amiibo figure was the last thing my nan bought me before she passed away. So these six have all got a special place in my heart. I bought Zelda and Peach as soon as they came out and I bought Samus for a friend. If I was to get another amiibo figure then it would be jigglypuff when it comes out. I would have loved an Ice Climbers amiibo figure but it seems very unlikely. Everytime I see @Dcubed's unopened Mario, I can't help but feel it'll never reach it's potential. You too can help an unopened Amiibo take part in games by donating 10 pounds to your local retailer. Storing these things in the packaging is a pain as they take up so much space And considering there's 6 mario series's ones About 20? If so I'm going to be bankrupt at the end of this! Well if you look at any of the Amiibo artwork on The leaflets and official storage cases they feature pikmin and animal crossing artwork . And these were produced before the recent mario party series , and they even feature mario in his alternate pose . So I would say we will be getting them at e3. True but the "silver amiibo edition" and "gold amiibo edition" seem to suggest it's nothing to do with Metal Mario or Gold Coin Mario, and that there could be other characters in those lines.
