I see a lot of comments saying how this game is "impossible" without the GamePad.

This will be lacking the asymmetrical 2-player local co-op (unless they try a Move/Kinect option...or perhaps Vita). Some people seem to think that this mode is the entire game.

The single-player and 4-player co-op (offline and online) will have no problems.

There were some stories floating around a while ago about how in single player, you only played as Murphy throughout the entire game. Then Ubisoft revealed that you are only required to play as him for a tiny amount of the game. Personally, I wouldn't be playing the game to be swiping my finger on the gamepad - I'd want to be hopping and bopping through levels as Rayman or Globox.

Ultimately, people talk a load of crap. When Ancel mentioned a new lighting system, internet twerps were banging on about how it was only possible on the Wii U. The only thing he said regarding the Wii U performance was that it was easy and they they weren't forced into scaling assets because of the extra RAM which meant sometimes they were using the full size/quality ones from the off.

The original game will run a Pentium 4 - it's not remotely taxing any system in this day and age. It's fantastic looks come down to artistic skill, not technical merit.

I know it's dumb but my biggest letdown in the last game was that both players don't earn achievements during co-op. Which is just... a really rookie mistake that you don't expect these days, as it was something that was complained about and eventually stopped happening about 5 years ago.

Hope they fix it with this title as I get a lot of fun playing co-op and helping one another to earn achievements.

I got the original game on 360, it wasn't bad but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would, I guess I just got over excited from all the hype.

Looks damn beautiful though, especially Legends. Will pick it up on U or 360 when it hits the £15ish mark

I've heard the first was infinitely less enjoyable in single player, which I can understand because it was basically one-hit-death, but you could be saved by your teammate.

I enjoyed Origins pretty much in single player. I didn't really enjoy it in multiplayer but that might have been because I played it with someone who just wanted to 'have fun' and smack me about and didn't want to go explore and look after secrets and chests. That frustrated me quite a lot. I think it might have been more fun if I had already completed the game when I played co-op.

This looks amazing. Love how they've brought back the same obstacles and sprites that featured in the original game.

Is it the same as the Wii U demo levels? (Like having the Black Betty (wamalam) song).

If not will download ASAP.

Don't have a WiiU, but the music level seems to be the same ;)

Just pre-ordered it on Vita with Killzone and Tearaway for £69.99.

Edit: And I changed it to PS3, after playing the demo I think I want to enjoy it on my HDTV.

Yeah the PS3 version does. One thing I didn't like though was that you couldn't pop bubbles with your fingers. :p

Would be cool if they added co op to Vita.

Thought I wouldn't be bothered when it came round but I played the demo the other night and loved it. Kind of weird, I rarely play demos anymore.
