Magnus
All I know is that my second cousins seem to love it, as does ReZ. What I'm saying is that ReZ is a teenage girl.

Shorty
I love photography and social media but don't feel the need to add random filters so I'm not on it. To be fair the social aspect has improved greatly from a technical standpoint. You can forgo the filters, tag a picture and web developers can use an API to pull together galleries for sites, along with comments and info from the user's profile. So imagine you've just been to an event, you tag it with their hashtag of choice and then they run a gallery on the site just like a twitter feed. So far, Instragram is certainly looking like a good purchase for Facebook.
Cube
If you have Instagram, can you use your phone's normal camera app and share with Instagram straight from there (like Facebook, Twitter, Email, etc)? Edit: Obviously, I mean if you have the app installed on your phone.
bob
I think you have to use the Instagram camera, but i'm not sure. My gf uses it.

Cube
Ah, you can share right from the camera app. I'll give it a go through that when I get my Nexus 4.
