Captain Falcon Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Speaking of Capcom. How many of their characters will be DLC? I don't know but I bet all of Capcom's are already on the cart.
Hero-of-Time Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 There have been 3 Mega Man collections (regular, X and Zero) that never made it over here so I guess we could get on their back for them. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Megaman-Zero-Collection-Nintendo-DS-BRAND-NEW-SEALED-/280859385386?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_205&hash=item4164861e2a#ht_500wt_1413 I had to import the other 2 for my Cube though.

Guess I stand corrected. I really didn't think that came out because I remember looking for it and contemplating an import. Obviously I was looking in the wrong place. Not paying that price though - no way!

I'm sure I seen it at GAME a while back for £20. EDIT: It's only £20 from VGP
Captain Falcon Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Yeah, its a pretty rare game now. Just wished I had picked it up sooner. I'm sure I seen it at GAME a while back for £20. EDIT: It's only £20 from VGP Wiki said it had patchy release in Europe. I remember scouring the local game stores used sections for MM games after getting back into it with MM9 but I've never seen any in them other than the StarForce games. I'm so tempted by that now. Never used VGP before. I used to use another site where even brand new DS games were £22 tops and a ot were only £18. They've stopped selling now unfortunately, and yet at those prices, not too surprising either.
Ike Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 If I remember right, it wasn't released in the UK, but some other European countries got it.
Hero-of-Time Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 If I remember right, it wasn't released in the UK, but some other European countries got it. I swear it was in GAME at the Metro Centre. It was the one that is upstairs, near HMV.
Ike Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 I swear it was in GAME at the Metro Centre. It was the one that is upstairs, near HMV. No idea. All I remember was play.com still had it on their coming soon list for ages after the supposed release date. I've seen it in Grainger Games, but that was the US version.
-Dem0- Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 The Website is up. So far you can only visit the 'About' & 'Entry Title' Pages. What I would say is that I'm really loving the main theme for this game.
-Dem0- Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 This looks fantastic! Did they explain how the game works? You fight in pairs, but do you control both characters? it didn't look that way from the trailer.
RedShell Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Trailer time! 2D sprite Ulala FTW! And LOL @ the scene for Jill starting with her ass. This game is never coming out over here, is it?
-Dem0- Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 And LOL @ the scene for Jill starting with her ass. Marketing tactic. This game is never coming out over here, is it? I doubt it will, but imagine the reaction if it does
Fused King Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 So, is this just a fighter? I thought one would walk around with characters through a story and encounter enemies, which would result in those fighting clips. Also, Konami must feel sad not being approached for this....I know I do
f00had Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 It's been said before that the game is a strategy RPG but after seeing that trailer I'm confused as to how you can select commands while battles are going at that pace lol
Cube Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I doubt it will, but imagine the reaction if it does Imagine if NoE publish it here...and NoA do nothing.
f00had Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 They didn't say anything about PXZ in the Nintendo Direct stream today
Tamazoid Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 They mainly mentioned things coming out in the next 2-3 months (Besides NSMB2 and Pokemon)
Retro_Link Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Seriously I know about 5 of those characters or something.
Jonnas Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 It's an SRPG, that's all we know. They've only been showcasing battles because flashy visual effects attract Japanese gamers. I'm guessing it's the same as in Valkyrie Profile for the DS: everything works as in a turn-based SRPG, but once you enter a battle, you still need to input your characters' moves. In VP, there was one button assigned for each character (a battle could hold up to 4 characters at once), so this could work with 2 buttons for each character.
Dante Posted April 25, 2012 Author Posted April 25, 2012 New scans are out showing new characters: Capcom: Hsien-Ko (Darkstalkers) and Frank West (Dead Rising) Sega: Leanne and Zephyr (Resonance of Fate) Namco: Alisa & Soma (God Eater)
-Dem0- Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 YAY! Frank West, he was my favourite character in TvsC! Full scans.
f00had Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 So... Does anyone have any idea what all those Japanese words around the pictures mean?
-Dem0- Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Some more characters confirmed: Sakura Wars: Erica and Gemini Mugen Frontier Super Robot Wars: Nanbu Kaguya and Haken Dynamite Deka: Bruno Darkstalkers: Morrigan Street Fighter: Chun-Li Valkyrie no Bouken: Valkyrie For some more details, you can find the link HERE.
Grazza Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Siliconera has a lot of screenshots: http://www.siliconera.com/2012/05/16/new-project-x-zone-screens-with-gemini-sunrise-haken-and-morrigan/ I don't know if it's just me but I think the sprite work looks stunning. This is the sort of visual style I'd like a lot more eShop games to have, including platformers.
