Rummy Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Yeah, I think I will do it. It's scary but I think it'll be okay. My question would be - what's really the worst that could happen? And the best?

Josh64 Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Me and Mexican boy have been chatting again as usual, and he was sending me pictures of different outfits because he didn't know what to wear, I died like every time. Then as things were getting tame again he dragged me back in with his craziness. Out of the blue I got a text, "I should come to the UK soon... AND THEN WE CAN GET MARRIED AHAHAHA"
drahkon Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 New year's coming, so let's all be positive. : peace:
nightwolf Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Haha or you get a really non-committal answer. I pretty much decided against pursuing the boy I've been speaking about. *shrug* sucks. Not the best way to start the new build.
Ellmeister Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Why did you decide that? What's wrong with just seeing where it leads?

nightwolf Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 (edited) In all seriousness, I feel sadder than I should. I've been told this is most likely because I've finally decided to start being more open about having a relationship and its a little more difficult for me to grasp after three years. Makes sense I suppose, its tough putting yourself out there after so long, I'm making sure I don't revert back to 'NO GO THE FUCK AWAY HUMANS'. EDIT: @Ellmeister Without going into too much detail or really any, I was/have been trying to see how it goes, go with the flow. But I got the impression that it wasn't going to work out (impression is the wrong word but its the only one I can think of right now). I put myself into a situation with someone and immediately went 'erm nope'. I don't want to force something like that, sure if someone comes along, but there's nothing wrong with going 'yeah this isn't going to work'. Edited December 31, 2013 by nightwolf
Ellmeister Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Oh I thought youd just given up before even talking to said person! My bad Wolfy.
MoogleViper Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Not the best way to start the new build. Wait, what? Build? Is this like Serebii's proposed love interest?
nightwolf Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Wait, what? Build? Is this like Serebii's proposed love interest? Haha whoops! I'm working and someone must have been talking about a new build whilst I was typing. I meant year! @Ellmeister No worries, I've already asked this person for a drink etc. So it wasn't as if I hadn't tried. There's no use forcing something. So I'm like 'sure, sad now, find someone else later'.

Makes sense I suppose, its tough putting yourself out there after so long, I'm making sure I don't revert back to 'NO GO THE FUCK AWAY HUMANS'. I know exactly how you feel. I locked myself away a long time for a number of reasons. About two years ago I met someone I liked and thought liked me, but then he fucked me around for months and it made me retreat again until recently. Not having much luck so far, but I'm hopeful. Hang in there kid!
nightwolf Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Thanks brother: I'm ok, its just weird. I've been pretty much commitment phobic for the past three years. To like someone (past just one night) is odd for me to have again. It did make me feel wanted again!
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 If this is going anywhere, we really need to start calling him something other than "Mexican boy".
Goafer Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Obviously his name is José. It needs to be Juan. The pun potential is immeasurable. I'd give him Juan, Juan love, hole in Juan, Juan D'erection etc.
Ashley Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 It needs to be Juan. The pun potential is immeasurable. I'd give him Juan, Juan love, hole in Juan, Juan D'erection etc. Mine works better if you're aware that @Jolly64 doesn't know how to pronounce José.
Ramar Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 It needs to be Juan. The pun potential is immeasurable. I'd give him Juan, Juan love, hole in Juan, Juan D'erection etc. Juanbelievable set of solid puns there.
nightwolf Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I really want a burrito now. The food - sorry.
Beast Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I think Juan is a Juanderful name. I'm just Juandering whether any other names could top it... OH! Could we call him Mexican Dave?
