Goafer Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Charlie Brooker is the man. He took everything I was thinking about the whole thing and put it an intelligent way, with more venom than I could muster. Beautiful.
The fish Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Damn! It turns out all mosques in my city here in Turkey have their azzan loudspeakers linked to a central recording, so swapping it for Miss Black's masterpiece for next Friday's afternoon prayers in my local mosque would be tricky... ... Suddenly a prank of a much greater scale sprung to mind.
nekunando Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 I just saw this over on GoNintendo.. I'm sure someone will be interested in it Somehow sounds better as a NES tune Could see it working when the end credits roll
Paj! Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Yeah you can imagine that being a really iconic gaming theme tune.
S.C.G Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 lol proof that everything sounds better in 8-bit and looks better when pixelated.
EEVILMURRAY Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Just when I start wondering what the generic black man portion was going to sound like. Boom! Game Over. Does sound good though
Paj! Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Rebecca Black is so 3 Fridays ago. Jenna Rose (My Jeans) is the best. New single out now!!!!!!!!!!

Ramar Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Paj, wtf the fuck did I just watch... That shit makes Friday look good. "Come on by my crib, my girls all looking dib".... Fucking dib? I've just urbandictionary'd that to make sure I've not missed the new word on the street. Thankfully my cred is still intact and it's just some none-sense for the song. At least with Rebecca Black's song its all pretty innocent about enjoying the weekend, nothing about shaking their 'boom booms'.

Jenna Rose is far too mature for just singing about the weekend or a pair of jeans. She's exploring her artistry and right to explore her own sexuality through her music. it is awful isn't it?

Daft Posted April 3, 2011 Author Posted April 3, 2011 The reason Friday was so brilliant was because of all the crap that came out of it. Nothing else is going to match up. Also, so so proud this thread is on its 17th page.

Ashley Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Another one for the books. I'm not sure what books but...
killer kirby Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 (edited) Anyone seen Stephen Colbert sing the song? Sorry if it's already been posted. But this is the best version out of the lot. Edited April 4, 2011 by killer kirby
Paj! Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Has everyone seen the Funny or Die things WITH Rebecca Black?! They're funny/It's good to know she has a sense of humour and is taking this in her stride. I'd link but...my religion forbids me.
Dog-amoto Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Can't believe this song was referenced at Wrestlemania last night

She has my respect.
Jimbob Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Just saw Brookers defending Black speech, good for him i say. I disliked people who took it too far, but i'm with everyone who hates the song and lyrics. I do feel sorry for her, but she is dismissing the hate-comments about her. Still hate the song though.
Frank Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I'm such a hipstar. I actually love 'Friday'. The 8-bit version has been in my head all day.
