Who Would Attend Your Dinner Party?

Either way, it's odd that I personally know loads of interesting women, but it's hard to think of many famous women I'd find interesting.

Exactly. I love the personalities of my female friends, they are every bit as witty as men. As for celebrities, though, I can't imagine a woman being as funny on stage as Russell Brand. It just wouldn't fit.

I do wonder how that would play out. That's limiting my options to alive anyway - unless one of them has died and I've remained unaware.

I'm struggling to come up with females, just like others, so I'll have to come back later when I can think of another 3 to add. As it is, this is my incomplete list:

1. Morgan Freeman

2. Stephen Fry

3. Carlos Santana

4. Geoff Nunberg (I'd love to have the whole 'cellar door' thing explained)

5. Jean Piaget (Would be interesting to see what he thinks of the cognitive development theories which ripped his work to shreds)

6. Gerald Haeffel (His paper on dopamine transporter genes and possible interactions for depression was fascinating)

7. Kay Redfield Jamison (She's the reason I wanted to study/I'm studying psychology)

8. Lena Headey (For looks and because I think she'd be great to have a chat with)

9. Ashley Costello (Lead singer of NYD. Spoken to her a few times about art and what not so she'd be great)

10.

11.

12.

I was thinking this, though having watched Virgin Suicides and read reviews of Somewhere I'm left debating whether she's actually any good. I'm a bit worried that Lost in Translation was a fluke, which sucks a little as it's my probable favorite film...

She is quite attractive however

nintendo-master; funnily enough lisbeth was the only female my dad could name, despite the fact that actually she'd be a proper shit dinner guest!

Yeah, she probably would in a social sense

I don't think I'd mind much though. I'd probably just spend the night secretly catching glances with her. Her presence is enough. She's just that cool :D

Plus you can just tell she'd make a mean cup of Joe.
