Dante Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 (edited) Info: - Remake - 90% complete, full voice acting , 8 days than 7, 150 demons - Game at the bottom screen, Menu/Stats on the top screen Scans: Altus thinks having 3D menus is better than having the game in 3D? Edited February 14, 2013 by Retro_Link
darksnowman Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Do want. Chances of an EU release slim to none I take it?
Debug Mode Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 No chance in hell of an EU release I bet. One of the main characters has too big of a pair of tits for European audiences, as we lack otaku.
Nolan Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Altus thinks having 3D menus is better than having the game in 3D? After playing Dead Space I think 3D menus could be pretty damn awesome looking...not the main attraction though.
D_prOdigy Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 It looks like Debug Mode's year-old scepticism on the topic has reached Ghostlight, as the publisher has confirmed it will release both Devil Survivor Overclocked (3DS) and Devil Survivor 2 (DS) in Europe. Excellent news. Now let's have that Persona 3DS game put into production.
Magnus Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 I'll definitely support this, in the hopes that they'll bring over future Atlus games, too. I still feel a bit bad because I imported Trails in the Sky two days before Ghostlight announced it was bringing the game to Europe.
Dcubed Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Excellent news! Ghostlight are the best thing that has happened to the UK publishing industry for years! Will buy both!
Debug Mode Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 I do love being proved wrong when it comes to these things! I'm even more surprised by the fact that they're even going as far as releasing a DS game here too. Hopefully they can get them out soon enough for me to pick them up!

Ike Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 They publish a lot of Atlus/Xseed games in Europe, the brought over a couple of the Persona games and Trials in the Sky for PSP for example. I'm hoping they'll publish Etrian Odyssey IV over here.
-Dem0- Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 (edited) From a Ghostlight dev blog: In other news, we’re making excellent progress on Devil Survivor 2 (DS) and Devil Survivor Overclocked (3DS). They really are both excellent games so watch out for more news on these two over the next few weeks. I’ll also be announcing that Ghostlight has secured another Japanese 3DS game for release this year and before you start guessing, no, it’s not a JRPG this time! Finally some news I've been waiting for, now I can wait more calmly. You guys have an idea of what this Non-JRPG game that's going to be released this year is? Edited July 6, 2012 by -Dem0-
Emerald Emblem Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 I still feel a bit bad because I imported Trails in the Sky two days before Ghostlight announced it was bringing the game to Europe. Same thing happened to me with Fate/Extra.

You guys have an idea of what this Non-JRPG game that's going to be released this year is? It's Code of Princess (check the game's thread) So that leaves Nano Assault and Sakura Samurai as the only games that's available in the US and not the EU. Of course that's all on Majesco and Nintendo's respective shoulders and not Ghostlight's there. Shame that there's still so much left as Japan only Edited July 6, 2012 by Dcubed
-Dem0- Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Yeah, I just found out myself when posting the info on the Code of Princess thread, thanks though.
Magnus Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 As nice as it is that Ghostlight is finally bringing this to Europe, being able to import it nearly a year ago would have been even nicer. Ugh. I hope it's out soon.
Nolan Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 I just picked this up today. Not quite what I expected but fun.
Hero-of-Time Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 These are up for preorder at Shopto now. Overclocked is £26 and Devil Survivor 2 is £20.
-Dem0- Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Yeah, I came across them last night after looking around. Got em both pre-ordered.
-Dem0- Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I think I read somewhere that both titles (Overclocked & Devil Survivor 2) would be delayed until 2013. Is this true?
Tamazoid Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Looks like it. I'm very disappointed, I was looking forward to playing it. http://www.siliconera.com/2012/11/01/devil-survivor-overclocked-and-devil-survivor-2-delayed-to-2013-in-europe/ “I regret to report that it is looking increasingly likely that both Devil Survivor: Overclocked and Devil Survivor 2 will not be released until 2013,” Ghostlight’s Ross Brierley writes. “This is incredibly disappointing as we were very much hoping to be able to release both titles this year, but sadly this has not been possible.” “It’s not as simple as just putting our name on it and getting ratings,” Brierley tweeted to an inquiring fan. “There are different requirements which require coding changes and testing as well. In this case [Overclocked] was our first 3DS title and some aspects ended up taking longer than we expected.” Regarding specific changes that need to be made, Brierley says that he is under a non-disclosure agreement, and so, is unable to share further details.
Hero-of-Time Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 And the end of year releases for the 3DS continue to dry up. It's a shame as I was quite looking forward to some RPG action on the 3DS. Honestly, if it wasn't for having a few Zelda games on the thing, via the ambassador programme and VC, my 3DS would have just been gathering dust for the past couple of months.
f00had Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 lol atlus are wankers, they can't release anything in time for europe. Persona 4 Arena has also been delayed multiple times when it should've been out in September
Tamazoid Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Atlus has nothing to do with the PAL release though, it's Ghostlight's job to get it out. I've said it before but I wish that Atlus would create a branch in Europe for the PAL market. With region locking we are going to continue to miss out on many quality games.
Dcubed Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 So once again, Early 2013 is the real Xmas 2012. That Q1-2 2013 lineup is looking pretty massive!
