Ashley Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 I imagine it to look a little like this: (but outside, obviously) (right...I should go find something to do)
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Religion has screwed me over for the last time. We need to campaign for their holidays to not be days off You're against days off?
Magnus Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Serebii's an entrepreneur. He doesn't get days off.
Serebii Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Serebii's an entrepreneur. He doesn't get days off. This is true. I don't get days off. You're against days off? I'm against them preventing me doing my work.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 I'm against them preventing me doing my work. Isn't that somewhat like being against the rain making you wet?
Serebii Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 I don't get days off. I don't get holidays. I have been working non stop since 1999
Cube Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Isn't that somewhat like being against the rain making you wet? It's like being against clouds because it stops the sunshine (a Pokémon game would be the sunshine in this metaphor).
Serebii Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 It's more like cycling to work happily, as you do numerous times, but it turns out aliens have moved it and it'll take a further four days to get to work
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 I understand your dislike completely, but it's a bit unfair to expect everyone else to get rid of days off altogether.
Magnus Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 I think you may be taking what he said a bit too seriously, Danny.
Ramar Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Serebii you're more than welcome to work my shitty night shift on Christmas eve. Seriously.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 I think you may be taking what he said a bit too seriously, Danny. I know, I know, it just came off to me as a little arrogant, not having any days off and complaining that others do. Give other people a break, all right, Serebii? We can't all have the most awesome job in the world! :p
Serebii Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Serebii you're more than welcome to work my shitty night shift on Christmas eve. Seriously. Work with anyone fit? :p I know, I know, it just came off to me as a little arrogant, not having any days off and complaining that others do. Give other people a break, all right, Serebii? We can't all have the most awesome job in the world! :p If I have to suffer, THE WHOLE WORLD SHALL SUFFER :p
Ashley Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 If I have to suffer, THE WHOLE WORLD SHALL SUFFER :p The whole world does have to suffer. It has to suffer you.
EEVILMURRAY Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 The moment I get Portal 2 it messes me around: http://n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1308326#post1308326 I need help!
Serebii Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 The whole world does have to suffer. It has to suffer you. You shall pay for those words...
Ashley Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 I pay for all the words. Who do you think pays for this place?
jayseven Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Sooooo. My trains home have been 'ruined' by a co-worker sharing the same train. She is unable to be quiet. She isn't very good at her job. She does not believe in evolution and says she hates gossip but cannot seem to stop bitching. And next week, I'm going to be her boss! Lol! She's quite loud, too, so our science vs. religion argument (where she says "I think people should question what they're taught instead of blindly obeying what other people have told them"... lol) attracted a lot of attention. I would look over her shoulder and I would catch people smiling at me, rolling their eyes at her. I feel bad for these words. I pay for all the words. Who do you think pays for this place? Shorty's company? :P
MoogleViper Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 I pay for all the words. Who do you think pays for this place? The users who generate advertising revenue?
Ashley Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 The users who generate advertising revenue? I got a good deal on the domain renewal. The advertising revenue we've gotten doesn't even cover 40% of that.
MoogleViper Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 I pay for all the words. Who do you think pays for this place? Partly through the users who generate advertising revenue?
Serebii Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Ashley got owned. Ashley got owned. Ashley got owned. :p
