nightwolf Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Hamish - amazing. I don't think I need to say anything else. MOAR PHOTOS. We went to the 9/11 memorial: Walked up to Time square: Got on a train and went to long beach: Took a detour to Jamaica: Walked the High line: Got back home:
Retro_Link Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 I LOVE the 9/11 memorial so much! It was a source of inspiration during my landscape architecture 4th year. Could you go down beneath it and look through the waterfalls? As is the New York High Line! I've become all too familiar with this image in books over the years:
nightwolf Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 It's lovely, we didn't go underneath, I didn't know that was possible. It was incredibly sad as there were a few people shedding some tears. As for the high line, the 14th street entrance is right outside of work opposite Chelsea market so its really ideal, I love it, if I had the choice I'd move to New York and stay at this office, which a year ago I never thought I'd say.

Retro_Link Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 (edited) *flaps sole up and down in talking motion* "...Please don't throw me away miss @Pancake!" *also looks kinda like a horse* Edited July 31, 2012 by Retro_Link
Pancake Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Heh, thanks guys. They're certainly not going in the BIN anyway. *glares at mother*
Beast Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Picture of me, my mate and the DJ at a 21st birthday party. I'm the one in the middle if nobody knows, lmao. Was pretty tipsy that night...and I look it too, haha.
Beast Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 My mate is on the left, DJ on the right and I'm in the middle, haha. DJ was nice though, he let us take control of the music for a bit and he went and had a drink and danced with some older woman, was funny to watch. Awesome night!
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 He's older than most DJs I know. But then I don't actually know any DJs.
Beast Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I know, I thought the same thing but to his credit, he knows all the latest music and stuff. Made me laugh, I caught him singing to One Direction (ugh!) but later on, he played all the 80s and 90s stuff and everybody got up and started dancing. I was just dancing all night long with my mates and stuff. It was an awesome night, saw some people I haven't seen since school. There was even one I didn't like who was slim and bullied my mate because of her weight and now she's big herself, nice to know karma works a bit sometimes, eh? :p
Retro_Link Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Victor Meldrew was your DJ!?... ... I don't believe it!!
bob Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Victor Meldrew was your DJ!?... ... I don't believe it!! I was just about to make this joke. I was going to go for a much more subtle 'I don't believe it!!' but yours is good too. Why is your friend on a drip Animal? Why does he have a balloon stuck to his head? What's going on with your left hand? Is it gilded? That picture asks so many questions, and answers so few.

Victor Meldrew would be God as a DJ, lmao. Also, my mate's wearing a glowstick bracelet which has a balloon attached to it (the balloon that's stuck to his head was my balloon, his balloon is out of the picture) and yes, my left hand is gliding because I have no left arm. I'm in the transformation of becoming the real-life Rayman, I have an appointment with the hospital next week to make my right one invisible too! :p LOL, never even thought of the balloon being stuck to his head, haha.
Beast Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 So another photo of me taken on my CBT today (which I passed if you didn't see the thread).
Emma Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Some of the funniest and best photos from mine and @Dan Dare holiday: Berlin: Barcelona: The most amazing salad ever. My 90cent fan. We went on both of these rides at Port Aventura
Emma Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 Peep show? Sort of. Dan definitely did get off on recent German History.
ReZourceman Posted August 6, 2012 Posted August 6, 2012 We went on both of these rides at Port Aventura *Sooooooooooooo jealous* -----------
