Fierce_LiNk Posted September 11, 2010 Share Posted September 11, 2010 After work, I decided to go out and around the town to do a bit of shoppppiiiing (said in the same way that the Pokemon Koffffing says his name) We popped into Wilkinsons and I found the one thing that would make my life easier: My words were something like "Fuck yeah! A laminator! Now I can do my laminating at home!" At the exact moment, I knew that I was old. I saw it, and I literally squealed. This is no exaggeration. I fucking squealed like a pig. I remember getting my first bill from British Gas. Or paying my first lot of rent. At those moments, I realised I wasn't a kid anymore. But apart from that I still live the life of a student who mooches off their parents etc. Sorta. I won't feel old/adultish yet until I have my own place I think. And a proper job. My first port of call would be to try and laminate a banana peel. I did threaten to steal all of my brother's monies after he gloated about a football result earlier today. I imagine that laminators could be useful for arty types of stuff. Like, if you make a special page for a comic that you'd like to keep or something, you could laminate that. Or for a portfolio. But, every department has a budget with things like paper, laminator pouches, other materials. It just seems like a lot of hassle.
