jayseven Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Google "x-factor autotuned?" and you'll get loads of links. They've confessed to post-production sound editing, claiming the auditorium sound didn't convey very well -- but yeah, they shouldn't be doing it, for it is misleading. So long as it's not done when people pay to call in and vote, though, then it's not a massive deal. Also the Mail online is stating that the 80's blonde chick may be booted out as she's already had a record deal (!).
darksnowman Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 The Mercy girl had me laughing so much, I was literally crying. That completely baffled me. Chinese girl was cute though... That she was.
Ryan Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 I'm supporting whichever song goes against this shit for christmas number 1..
mcj metroid Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 I'm supporting whichever song goes against this shit for christmas number 1.. You don't know it will be shit yet though granted more than likely it will be, but let's give them a chance at least.
Beast Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Am I going mad? I could have sworn I posted here
Ashley Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 This is about X-Factor 2010. Joe McElderry is soooo 2009.
Beast Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 This is about X-Factor 2010. Joe McElderry is soooo 2009. I posted here because it just says "X Factor", usually the others say the years but I thought because of the whole 'change' that we weren't doing this. My bad!
Ashley Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 So you thought because of the change in which we don't have all encompassing threads we'd lump all of the X-Factor seasons together? Explain that logic to me...
Beast Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 (edited) So you thought because of the change in which we don't have all encompassing threads we'd lump all of the X-Factor seasons together? Explain that logic to me... I thought since there's only one thread for Dexter, Glee, Chuck, The Inbetweeners and such, I thought that it counted for X Factor too. As I said, my bad! That and the fact I thought it wasn't really worthy of a thread much, lol. Edited September 21, 2010 by Animal
Ashley Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 In fairness the Dexter and Inbetweener threads have been about the new seasons anyway, as they were created in time for. Glee can be too as it was only made a week or two ago but its been used mostly to moan about how crap Glee was. X-Factor is a different kettle of fish though. Each season is largely different (same judges...mostly and set up granted but a whole host of new things).
EEVILMURRAY Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 The good bit (Auditions) has ended sadly. Now it's just going to be the "good" singers. Not happy.

I can see your point but I didn't even think about it when I made the Dexter and Glee threads. My intentions were to talk about the seasons themselves as well as the new seasons and stuff. I didn't think to make it purely for the one season, haha. The good bit (Auditions) has ended sadly. Now it's just going to be the "good" singers. Not happy. Same here, next week looks kind of interesting though. Are they all going to dance and sing or something? How crap!
Zechs Merquise Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 I personally hate the auditions stage of all these shows... with all the disillusioned losers and sob stories. I'll mainly check it out later on to see who they've found. Judges Houses onwards probably. But really the only reason for me to watch this... Dannii Minogue Oh Retro... but if you miss the auditions you miss comedy gold like this: There's nothing like national public humiliation for pond life. I'm not sure which one was more repulsive of the two. However their parents were even worse, the creature lurking backstage in the white T-shirt that could loosely be described as 'female' was about the size of small elephant! How do people get in that state? Well who knows - but in some sort of repayment for their state funded benefits we get to see them humiliated on TV every year during this AAA television production!
Beast Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I love Cheryl's reaction, "SHE JUST PUNCHED HER!" haha.
Ashley Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 You can always rely on a Geordie for in-depth analysis.
EEVILMURRAY Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I love Cheryl's reaction, "SHE JUST PUNCHED HER!" haha. Almost as bad as Dermot's overacting.
Zechs Merquise Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I've been doing some digging - there's so much comedy gold in that show, here's another classic: This greasy haired tramp is a totally deluded freak. Her reaction at being told the truth about herself is utterley classic!
Paj! Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I actually lol'd out loud at Dannii at 3.00.
Retro_Link Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Oh Retro... but if you miss the auditions you miss comedy gold like thisYeah I've watched the auditions on and off... don't know if I've made it through a whole show yet! But I did see them hit a new low the other day when they put through that completely talentless girl who's just revealed herself to be an escort. She was aweful... but I guess Simon saw her as the UK's answer to Kesha or something givien her style.
Zechs Merquise Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Yes, she wasn't the kind of girl you'd take home to meet your mum. But she did have 'one filthy night of fun' written all over her hahahaha Anyway, here's another classic: This one is brilliant, mainly because she is so plain, you can imagine her sat unnoticed in a low level office job for the rest of her life, but she clearly believes she's got the star quality of Christina or Britney. Predictably the truth hurts and she goes beserk!
EEVILMURRAY Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 She isn't that bad a singer. But as mentioned and is clearly evident she has a terrible attitude.
Charlie Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 There are topless photos of that girl who punched her friend around on the Internet. I wish I could un-see them.
Charlie Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Bumpage. So everyone on my Facebook is pissed off that Katy Waissal got through. I said yesterday to a friend that there was no chance that she wasn't going through because she's just been featured so much in the series so much already. A few points I'd like to make on Facebook but can't be bothered having to explain myself. 1) There's no chance that it was even Cheryl Cole even made that decision. It's Simon Cowell's show and he knows everything that goes on in it. He knew that putting her through would cause controversy and get people talking which is why she's through. 2) Waisall will blow everyone away in the first live show next week with a fantastic performance and win everyone over
Paj! Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Was she the one who was really confident and dressed like Madonna? (I can't watch it at uni, and am not truly bothered)
