Ellmeister Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I love you. You make my day that little bit more rosier
canand Posted November 23, 2009 Author Posted November 23, 2009 I found this Mars Mixed Advent Calendar what is it just all Mars?
SPAMBOT4000 Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 And this is why canand is the funniest knee-er around!
Jimbob Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Not yet, i don't think the company behind the Celebration Calender wants to release one this year. Unfortunetly for canand, i don't think the 1 or 2 thousand purchases he made of these count to be fair.
canand Posted November 23, 2009 Author Posted November 23, 2009 They discountinued it. why did they discountinued it?
jayseven Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I want a kinder-surprise one, where each day you have a little toy to put together!

ReZourceman Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Castle 2008 Advent Calander > CITY/Pirates 2009 Advent Calanders.
Eenuh Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I think I only had an advent calendar once. Maybe. I don't even remember if I did. That Lego one looks cool but I think it lacks in chocolate? Chocolate is a necessity.
ReZourceman Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I think I only had an advent calendar once. Maybe. I don't even remember if I did. That Lego one looks cool but I think it lacks in chocolate? Chocolate is a necessity. Agreed. The way to go is LEGO + Chocolate. Although I'm not getting a LEGO one this year. Because....the novelty has worn off/I'm not a big City/Pirates fan. Its gotta be Cadburys or Galaxy/Dove(?) advent calander.
Wesley Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I'm just going to buy 24/25 massive bars of chocolate and eat one a day while marking off a calendar. I win. At being fat.
Raining_again Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I'm just going to buy 24/25 massive bars of chocolate and eat one a day while marking off a calendar. I win. At being fat. hahah I love your thinking wesley!
EEVILMURRAY Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Does that Lego calendar have chocolate as well as pieces? I want a kinder-surprise one, where each day you have a little toy to put together! This would be amazing, even just one with the kind of chocolate.
ReZourceman Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Does that Lego calendar have chocolate as well as pieces? It doesn't.
Shorty Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Speaking of advent calendars, sort of... does anyone know where you can buy pick n mix from?? I have to fill a calender up myself, it's one of those fabric ones. I would normally go to Woolworths but, well, y'know. I don't really know of any traditional sweet shops in Sheffield either. Lincoln had a nice one....
Wesley Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Tesco near me started doing their own pix a mix again (after they stopped for a few years). Also WHSmiths do them near me. I honestly think Tesco started doing it because they know Woolworths did it (best) and now they're gone. Not an astonishing revelation as such... I should learn to know when to stop typing.
Shorty Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Aha! Yes, I think my WHSmith does one too, although it's not a large selection. Local Tesco doesn't as it's not that big, although I could trek down to the ridiculously oversized new one in Chesterfield (largest in Europe or so I hear o_o)
CoolFunkMan Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 I'm just going to buy 24/25 massive bars of chocolate and eat one a day while marking off a calendar. I win. At being fat. You sir, are a genius!
jayseven Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 There's a pick n' mix kiosk thing in meadowhall, but it's meadowhall, so annoying fulla-people atmosphere to be expected. Dan must know of a proper sweetshop on a school route somewhere, or something.
Pyxis Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Wilkinsons is another shop that sells Pick and Mix.
Ten10 Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 I know for a fact Morrisons have a pick and mix. I was thinking the lego advent calendar would kick with chocolate, lego pieces inside. But then I realised you would always eat the chocolate and never make the lego men.
