Tellyn
The same NGamer that said Sonic is playable in SMG2? On Twitter, and in a tongue-in-cheek way. Lighten up Dante, it was obviously a joke.

Ike
That's a lot earlier than expected, they better be doing a worldwide release!
Owen
MUCH earlier then expected...a good few months earlier...European release date should be close to it hopefully!
Retro_Link
Think I might avoid the new trailer, especially as there may not actually be all that many months to wait! I'm thinking June for us!!

david.dakota
just cuz he didnt hear it, doesnt mean to say its not in it But he heard MIDI. Why create MIDI tracks if you intend to orchestrate? I'll be really disapointed if Nintendo fail to include orchestrated tracks.

I'll be really disapointed if Nintendo fail to include orchestrated tracks. like lostmario said, maybe they just haven't added it in yet or even recorded it. it was just a trailer after all right? i think nintendo are well aware that the music was one of the best things about SMG, and to totally drop it for the sequel would be a huge, huge mistake. if their aim is to build on the first game and make the sequel better, then to take away something that strong would just be bizarre. nintendo are stupid, but i don't think they're THAT stupid
Retro_Link
^ they did demo the game on stage, and judging from GoNintendo's post, that must have been using MIDI aswell.
Tellyn
In regards to the MIDI thing... With films, it's usually left until the film has been edited and completed before a score is created for it, right? I'd imagine it's the same for games. ...
Just ask!http://www.gametrailers.com/video/nintendo-media-super-mario/62271 Wow, thanks! I didn't think of looking in the legitimate sites, doh. Did you see that part at 1:36-1:40? A cylinder in which "the gravity goes around it"... You don't walk on it, you have to use those platforms and if you fall you fall around the cylinder until you hit another platform! Amazing, Nintendo never run out of ideas. Mike
This game's looking better and better, I can't wait. New levels look awesome, though I was slightly disappointed to see Piantas in this screenshot: Great that we're getting Whomps again, though: and this one looks really interesting. Ho-oh, anyone? Serebii
These pictures just make me wish it were in HD so it could look even better on my TV, not that it looks bad at all, but still, after seeing Mario Galaxy rendered in HD I want this
RedShell
and this one looks really interesting. Ho-oh, anyone? More like EAD Tokyo giving a nod to their very own Jungle Beat I reckon. Looks stunning though, and the trailer is amazing. The only thing that could potentially impair this awesomeness now is NoE messing up the European release date. Anyway, not long to go before we find out.
