EDIT: 10 reasons to hate your Wii!

That link kept giving me a 404 error. I just found the article and read it though, hopefully this link will work for everyone as it seems to for me. Maybe its just my lenient views on Nintendo, but the article just seemed like moaning for the sake of moaning.

I read that the other day. I like how the pick one machine apart for one thing, and rip another one for the opposite. I'm pretty sure they've had previous hate weeks too.

Aye, thought they could have done better though. :heh: Twas funny the way they got Okami into it. I'm gonna have a gander at the other consoles ones- no doubt the reasons to hate them are all too genuine. :indeed:

^^^^ How the hell do they even do that anyway? if Gamecube games were made in a significantly lower resolution - say 480i or something - then how have they managed to get 720p out of it using an emulator...

Wind Waker already looked fantastic but it looks even better there. The Mario Sunshine one is nice as the water effects all look superb. Was trying to watch the F Zero GX one but it's only the intro bit before a race on your chosen circuit. I can understand why because trying to run F Zero GX on an emulator at a decent frame rate with current tech is going to be virtually impossible. Would loved to have seen it though. Perhaps next gen Nintendo'll treat us to some of the GC titles in 720p.

Knowing Nintendo, they're going to charge us $30 per title rather than it just emulating our old ones though.

It's an unofficial project, Nintendo aren't endorsing or selling these upscaled games in any way.

I was referring to how people were saying Nintendo should emulate Wii games like this on their next console.

I actually want all of the games off this list. 15 quid for de Blob and a fiver for Dewi's adventure...

Why do I have no fucking money?!

Thanks for that, just picked up Dewy's Adventure for a measly £6.86. I know it got naff reviews, but people on boards seem to really like it. If I'm correct it was made by the Eledees team and I really liked that game.

It was by the Eledees team. And it got just average reviews- but you've paid less than average price so well done.

I personally found that hard to believe. It's clearly taken out of context - for it to be true would be to mean that all Wii games cost the same to develop...

This must be for the blockbuster Wii titles, surely. I find it hard to believe the majority of Wii titles cost anywhere near as much as that to develop and market.
