Retro_Link Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 They should apply an oxygen mask sound effect to Wii Speak.
dazzybee Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 They should supply an oxygen mask headset for online chit-chat!
RedShell Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 Haha, right enough, communication in Endless Ocean was a bit cumbersome to say the least. As well as Wii Speak support, it would be great if they allow for four (or more) players.Yeah, I remember trying to write messages with that weird glowing pen tool. Fun times! They should apply an oxygen mask sound effect to Wii Speak. That would be rad!I imagine the effect could possibly be slightly impaired with Wii Speak though, what with its ability to collect multiple voices from a room. A more traditional mic set-up probably would have benefited voice chat for this particular game.
Owen Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Supposadely this has been given a tentative 2009 release in Europe! Probably will arrive around October/November time! I love Endless Ocean so i'm hoping the second one makes it out here in 09! The release list is looking pretty barren so this will do nicely!
Mike Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Can't wait for this, I loved the first one. It may even convince me to get Wii Speak if enough people on here go online with it.
LostOverThere Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Whoa! That's frigging awesome! Please tell me they aren't just concept art or anything, because they're gorgeous.
darksnowman Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Those screens are hot. Really liking the bottom one.
Ganepark32 Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Really do hope we see this released this year. Afterall, they did list it for this year in the latest release thing even though they had said it had been delayed until next year. Does look great but then it always looked good under the water anyway. But it's definitely been polished more. It's these games that have me wanting a new Ecco the Dolphin. Get to it Sega. You know it'd be awesome.
Owen Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 I'm stuck in Endless Ocean...supposadely it is a very difficult bit which is rather confusing..so much infact i have no idea how to explain it..haha I hope this is released this year! Looking doubtful though!
pedrocasilva Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Nintendo already confirmed that it isn't shipping this year outside Japan.
Owen Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Nintendo already confirmed that it isn't shipping this year outside Japan. I'm going by the release list which showed it as Q4 2009 in Europe.
pedrocasilva Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 I'm going by the release list which showed it as Q4 2009 in Europe.Hmmm, now I'm curious.
Helmsly Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Wii folder have a few videos up of the game now:
tapedeck Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Aww man, no MP3/AAC support in this Kinda gutted as listening to your own music was brilliant on the first title and made it so much better. Gah! Anyway... Still looks amazing.
Owen Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 This is out in 2010 now isn't it? What ashame..could have helped the Wii line-up quite a bit if released this year..but nevermind. Looking fantastic!
Ike Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 EU release date announced: 7 January 2010 – Enter into a new marine adventure as you explore uncharted underwater realms brought beautifully to life in the stunningly realistic Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep, which launches on Wii across Europe on 5 February 2010. Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep offers six new ocean locations to explore. Plunge into the icy Arctic waters or explore the sunken wrecks in the Aegean Sea and, for the first time, venture into rivers such as the mysterious Brazilian Amazon to discover a vast array of freshwater wildlife. You can even step ashore onto dry land to encounter birds and other non-aquatic wildlife. Your diving missions will include helping maintain coral reefs, riding on dolphins and swimming with humpback whales. You will be equipped with new tools to aid in your encounters. The Pulsar gun will be required to repel any unexpected encounters with predators of the deep, but will also allow you to heal any sick creatures you may discover on your quest. As well as enjoying the mesmeric and relaxing underwater scenery, you can locate precious artefacts using your Treasure Detector, act as a diving escort and take photographs for nature magazines - building your diving skills and opening up new challenges as you go. As you explore, you can complete missions and solve mysteries before moving on to a new area. The game offers single and multiplayer modes and via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection you can link to another player’s Wii and explore each other’s oceans and rivers. Using Wii Speak, you can share your encounters, marine missions and swim with your fellow explorers. With its realistic and beautiful graphics, Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep offers a whole new world of discovery, and launches across Europe for Wii on 5 February 2010.
Mike Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Brilliant, I can't wait for this. I loved the first one, even if the story mode was a little on the short side. The press release certainly has me hyped up more about it - the Brazilian bits especially. Hopefully with six areas to explore the campaign will last longer, too. (I'm assuming the individual areas won't be as big as the whole ocean in Endless Ocean, but surely they'll be bigger than it combined.)
